"Wow, Dalton's being surprisingly nice, all of a sudden." Mel said with he arms crossed "what happened in the nurse's office, Cole? What did you do?"
"Nothing! Gosh, Mel! Do you really think that anything would happen?!" Cole replied defensively hurt by Mel suggestion.
"Then why is he being so nice?" Jess questioned unsure of whether what Cole was saying was true.
"I don't know, I didn't do anything" Cole said sternly "all I know is that Peter attacked him out of jealousy because of me."
"Interesting," sneered Nick, hugging Jess' head in a ridiculous fashion, stroking her hair.
They were so cute and weird together.
"Are we still going to hang with him, though? After what happened with Peter?" Mel asked uncertain if they should be around Dalton.
"Peter did cause him a bloody nose and black eye because of me. I think I should hang with him for comfort, at least. You guys don't have to come with me." Cole said reassuring Mel that no matter what he'd have to go.
"I don't trust Dalton being alone with you, I'm coming." Nick chirped as he stopped messing with Jess.
"Well, great cause I can't hang anyways I have plans," Jess said hugging Nick then Mel and then Cole and run off to her mom's car.
"Thanks, Nick. I can't come either I have lessons so keep Cole safe" Mel yelled as she entered the school bus.
"I don't need protection!" Cole yelled back to her sarcastically.
