"Dalton! Bro, wait." Hunter called to him as he ran down the hall holding up his skinny jeans as he ran.
"What?!" Dalton yelled back still blushing furiously.
"What just happened? All I saw was you bolt from back that way in the most embarrassing way possible," asked Hunter as he caught his breath from his little jog.
"I can't do it anymore, Hunter. I can't." Dalton replied, confusing Hunter even greater.
"Can't do what?" Hunter inquired, narrowing his eyes.
"I can't handle this explosion of feels I get when I'm near Cole and the feeling I just got when I accidentally just kissed him. What do I do, Hunter?" Dalton said hiding his face in his lap as he glided down some lockers, sitting on the floor.
"Wait, you kissed him. Nice work, Rapattoni!" Hunter cheered his friend on. Dalton just glaring up at him to hint that he wasn't helping, at all.
"Okay, well since you obviously like him so much you need to find ways to show him you're changing and that you're sorry. You could try a grand gesture like an apology or confession, something big between you two." Hunter aided as he helped his blonde off the floor.
"Really," quivered Dalton meekly staring at Hunter's apologetic eyes.
"Yea," Hunter replied, patting Dalton on the back before letting go to walk away to his next class.
"Hey, Hunter! I've never really said this before but your my best friend and I don't know what I'd do without you. I don't think I've given you enough to show how much I'm thankful that you're always there for me. Thanks," Dalton spoke, his expression sincere and a bit ashamed.
"Aww, thanks, Dalton. By the way, keep me updated on the whole Cole thing." Hunter said as he strolled off waving a peace sign at Dalton.
A Grand gesture? Show him you've changed? In all honesty Dalton had no clue what to do. Ugghh, why is High school so hard?
Before they knew it the bell rang for the end of school and another torturous day of classes was done.
Sadly the torture still loomed over Dalton until he could finally get to sleep that night. Thinking about Hunter, Jess and most brain racking, Cole. Joy!
