"Hey Cole, my friends and I are gonna hang later at the movies wanna come?" Dalton asked feeling mighty and think that Cole couldn't possible say no.
"Oh......ah......I'm sorry I can't, I'm going to be hanging out with Mel, Peter from science and Jess later. Maybe next time!" Cole said with a smile on his face.
Dalton's smug look had disappeared for he was just denied by an alternative, he was just denied by Cole.
Why was he denied, everyone likes him and would kill to be with him? Why did Cole say no?
Dalton let it go a little, Cole probably just wants to test some water before going into the ocean.
Cole had Geography next, thank god he could talk to Mel. He entered the room and sat right next to her
She was chatting with Nick from Cole's math class.
"What's up C-Note?" asked Mel using an embarrassing nickname that Cole didn't like.
"Um.....I have witnessed so much, already." Cole said looking blankly at his desk, pondering the events of his day.
"What happened? It's only your first day!" Nick piped as he watched Cole fade into his desk.
"Well, Nick, I witnessed Darryl suck neck with Dalton in the hallway while I was trying to find my locker." Cole said speeding through his sentences ending with a popping noise.
"I fully expected that actually. Darryl was constantly saying how he didn't like Dalton and how he was nothing but a pretty boy. Dalton finally got to him and snapped up like a venus fly trap. You have to admire his ability to do that to anyone he pleases." Nick explained.
"See, ah...Cole no one can deny Dalton anything or they will be come his next target just like Darryl. He use the fact that Darryl is bi against him. Well played but wrong to do." Nick explained to Cole to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid.
