~Next Day in Literacy~

"Okay, we're going to be doing Literal Debates, so I want you to pick partners and then decide on a Language based issue you know of then pick which side you are for and against." The teacher Mrs. Hanes instructed.

Dalton decided to take this opportunity to discuss things with Peter.

From across the class Cole made signals at Peter to come and be his partner.

"Hey, Peter! Wanna be partners?" Dalton chimed interrupting Peter and Cole's little charade.

"Uhh, umm I don't think that a good idea." Peter said trying to look pass Dalton at Cole.

"Please, I have something important to tell you." Dalton pleaded, his expression full of guilt and sadness.

Across class Cole was getting more and more pissed off at Dalton interfering in his life.

"No. I'm going with Cole." Peter said as his brushed pass Dalton trying to get to his friend, only to be stopped by Dalton touching his arm.

"Ok, but please can we talk after school, please. I promise that I won't have anyone with me and I'm not trying to trick you. I swear I just want to talk, please?" Dalton said sounding more and more desperate by the second.

"Fine, but if you do try anything I will make sure that Cole hears about it." Peter argued in his favour.

"I won't do any thing and it wouldn't matter anyways Cole already can't stand me and he won't believe that I've changed so that ship sailed." Dalton informed Peter, sadness clouding his eyes.

"Alright," said Peter as he walked over to Cole who was doodling in his book. One of which was heart ripped in half, which he didn't even recognize he drew until Peter pointed at it.
