"Dalton," Cole said barely a whisper.
Cole had no idea what to say next or how to say it. He wanted to say everything and nothing at the same time.
Dalton stare off into space as if reality was fake and just something out of a badly written book.
His cheeks just stained with wet streaks of despair.
"Dalton, I...I don't..."
Cole stopped and looked at the boy into front of him. Cole slowly moved to sit next to Dalton on the bed, not taking his eyes of him for a second.
Dalton didn't move or speak.
Cole moved his hand toward the blonde's cheek and wiped away the wet lines that cascaded down his face.
Cole hand ended underneath Dalton's chin, his thumb caressing the boy's smooth cheek.
Cole lifted Dalton's chin causing Dalton's teary eyes to meet his.
"Dalton, you're not worthless or useless. I don't want you to die. You're special and amazing and unorthodox. You think of things differently. You're misunderstood and a bit awkward. The world you knew wasn't the world around you. I figured it out. You were never this person who needed everything. You were just you trying to get by. Dalton, you're a beautifully broken soul. And I...I..........I love you." Cole said as he leaned into Dalton, peering to his heavy eyes.
Cole moved inward into Dalton's space and began thinning the gap between them.
Cole's lips met Dalton's gently. His hand still resting on the blondes cheek as he gave Dalton his emotion in a one perfect kiss.
