Wedding Part 1
~Chapter 3~
-SKYLARS P.O.V-
We make our way to Hayley's apartment, picking up Ashley and Val on our way, they were new girls we had hired to design with Hayley and I, and they were also my other bridesmaids since we had all gotten close the past few weeks. Once we get to the apartment building I practically run up the stairs in excitement. Hayley opens the door and I burst through it and find my mom and Lynette looking at the door as they stand and run over to me. "Skylar, you look beautiful!" Lynette says and my mom nods in agreement with tears in her eyes. "She will look even better when we get her in that dress!" Hayley says grabbing my arm and pulling us girls to her room to get dressed. "You guys change first." I say excitedly as Hayley helps Val and Ashley into their dark grey dresses that hugged their waist then flowed to their knees. In the middle around the waist was a deep red band that had a rose connected to it, and they were wearing red converse. "Beautiful!" I say tearing up as Hayley changes into one identical to it. "My beautiful bridesmaids!" I say smiling at them and I take a picture as they all do a silly pose. "Now for our flower girl!" Hayley says giggling as we change Natalie into a dark grey dress that had a deep red bow around the waist and we put on her little black converse that Hunter picked out. "My beautiful princess!" I say and Natalie giggles at me spinning around playing with her dress. "Now you!" Hayley says and this is the moment I had been waiting for. I go into the bathroom and change into the dress. I walk out and everybody gasps. "Its beautiful!" Hayley says starting to cry and I smile as I look down at my white dress that has long lace sleeves and a lace neckline that connects to the top of the dress. It hugs my waist snuggly and then flows out falling the floor. There's a deep red band in the middle of the dress with a rose connected to it and I have a bouquet of red and grey roses, and I'm wearing black converse. Lynette starts to cry and I hug her. "Don't cry!" I say starting to cry myself. "Its beautiful!" I say happily and my mom nods as Hayley snaps a picture of us crying. "We better get down to the location, it takes an hour to get there and its three. We will arrive just in time!" Hayley says smiling. "Let's go!" I say giggling as we all run down the stairs and out to the car smiling.
-HUNTERS P.O.V-
All the guys have changed into there black suits with a grey undershirts, deep red ties, and red converse except me, I have a black suit a white undershirt and a deep red tie with a rose pinned to my chest, and Im wearing black converse. I walk into the wedding area and look around at all of our family and friends that are sitting on white benchs. There's a black carpet that leads through the aisle and there's black and deep red lights hung everywhere giving the place a magical glow to it. There's a black alter up front and a priest in all black standing in front of it getting ready to start the wedding. There's roses all around the front and the whole scene is placed in front of a huge weeping willow tree, Skylar's favorite, that has deep red leaves. Hayley runs in and gives me the thumbs up to begin and I walk to the front of the aisle. My heart is beating a million miles per minute and I was so nervous. I turn and stand as everybody in the crowd turns around facing the back, Hayley and Sam appear at the back of the aisle from underneath a white arch. They walk down the aisle slowly as the music to Wanted starts playing and Sam stands next to me and Hayley stands on the other side of us. I felt as if time stood still as Skylar's mom and my mom came around the side and sat in the front row. Ashley and Matt appeared walking down the aisle and I laugh slightly as he comes and stands next to Sam and Ashley stands behind Hayley. Next Val and Steve appear the end of the aisle and I smile, and my heart is racing out of my chest. I see Natalie appear at the end of the aisle and she throws roses on the black carpet as she walks down the aisle giggling and she looks up and sees me and her face lights up. "Daddy!" She yells and everybody laughs lightly as she runs up to me grabbing at my legs and I let her stand next to me as she grabs my hand. Everybody stands and my heart stops as I see Skylar appear connecting arms with my dad, holding her bouquet in the middle of her stomach and she smiles as she sees me. The whole world stops turning and its as if its just me and her staring at each other from opposite sides of the room. I knew in that moment that I could see the rest of my life in her deep blue eyes as she began to walk down the aisle towards me, and I felt a tear fall down my face as I watched my best friend, and soon to be wife walk towards me.
-SKYLARS P.O.V-
I watch as everybody walks through the white arch and after Natalie I knew it was my turn. I link arms with Leo as we turn and walk into the aisle and everybody stands but all I see is Hunter. Its as if the world stops spinning and my heart stops beating. I knew in that moment that I could see the rest of my life in his crystal blue eyes as we began to walk down the aisle. Tears forming in my eyes as I see the familiar faces and the beautiful scene the whole wedding was set up in was magical, the cool breeze that danced on my skin and made the huge weeping willow tree sway along with it gently. The birds chirped and the sun peaked out from behind a cloud, illuminating the sky. The deep red, black, and white color everything was decorated in gave the area a beautiful glow. I take it all in as I walk down the aisle towards Hunter my heart beating rapidly. As we reach the end of the aisle I hug Leo and I turn and find Hunter right behind me holding out his hand and I take it as we walk up to the front, and Natalie goes to stand next to Hayley. I face Hunter and he removes the hair from my face and we connect both of our hands staring into each others eyes as the priest talks. "Ready?" Hunter mouths to me and I nod tears forming in my eyes. The wedding goes on and the priest asks us to say our vows, and Hunter starts by saying his. "Skylar, I remember back in 7th grade when you walked into that small classroom and you made my heart jump. You sat next to me and you gave me my nickname, Hayes. To this day I never get tired of hearing you call me Hayes. Now I can call you Hayes since its your last name as well." He says winking and I laugh through the tears. "When we were 16 you wondered if we would ever get married and then you followed by 'ew'. I hope you don't feel that way still." He says and everyone laughs. "I guess you can say ew now, but I promise that from that day in 7th grade until the end of forever, I have, and will love you. I will stand by you as you take on the world, just as you stand by me. I will be everything you want and need and more because that is what you deserve. I love you Skylar, forever." The tears fall from my eyes and the priest looks at me. I look Hunter in the eyes and begin to say my vows. "When I first walked into that classroom I saw your blue eyes, and my heart fluttered. I sat by you and we exchanged names. From that point then you have always called me Sky. When you left for Nashville I told you if you ever missed me, to look up, youd see the Sky. The sky is always there, just like I am. Through all your crazy dreams, I will stand with you and support you. Most importantly ill love you as my husband, and as my bestfriend, till the end of forever." I stare at Hunter our eyes never leaving connection as I talk and tears form in his eyes and fall down onto his cheek. "Mr. Hayes do you take Skylar to be your wife?" The priest says after we finish our vows. "I do." Hunter says and the priest repeats the same line asking me this time. "I do." I whisper and Hunter smiles. "I pronounce you Mr and Mrs. Hayes. You may kiss the bride." The priest says and Hunter places his hands on my waist and I put mine on his shoulders as we lean in and kiss each other and this had been the best kiss yet. It was full of passion, and love. Everybody claps and Hunter and I back away from each other and we smile. "You're my forever." Hunter says and I nod and kiss him again, this time as Skylar Hayes.
