~Chapter 34~

This is the day I had been dreading for the past few months, the day Hunter was leaving, again. I walk into the bedroom and lean against the door as Hunter zips his suitcase slowly, noticing I walked in. "Hey beautiful, how are you doing?" He says looking over and I swallow back my tears, as Hunter leaving was hard for me, especially with Natalie now. "Promise you'll Skype Natty and I." "Every night." He says and a tear slips out of my eye and it rolls down my cheek and I bite my lip trying to hold back the rest of my tears. "Dont cry Skylar." He says pulling me to his chest and I lean my head on his shoulder. "I'm going to miss you, a lot." I whisper and he rubs my back and kisses my head. "I'm going to miss you too Sky." He whispers and I back away and his hands find mine and he plays with my promise ring and my wedding ring. "Look at these when you miss me," he says slipping them off and showing me them to reveal the message they said when put together, "you're my forever." He whispers slipping them back on and I nod and kiss him. "I love you." I whisper and he smiles. "Always and forever." "Is that our new thing?" "It fits us." He says and I nod and kiss him again before the doorbell rings. "I got it!" Natalie yells running into our room before sliding down the stairs on her butt and I laugh as I walk down behind her and Hunter follows carrying his suitcase. Natalie tries to open the door and I help her laughing and I see Hayley holding Taylor and on the road was the tour bus and my smile leaves my face. "Time for me to go." Hunter says setting down his bag and he picks up Natalie. "Daddy has to go." He whispers and she hugs him and I see tears in her little blue eyes. "Love you Daddy." She whispers and he smiles. "I love you too Princess, take care of Mommy for me?" He asks and Natalie nods giggling and he kisses her forehead and sets her down before looking at me and I hug him. "Goodbye Hayes." "Dont say goodbye, say I'll see you soon." "I'll see you soon." I whisper smiling and he kisses me. "Now go kill it for your fans and know your number one fans are here at home." I whisper picking up Natalie. "I will." He whispers kissing me again before picking up his bag and walking out the door and to the bus and Natalie gasps. "Daddy!" She screams and he turns around. "Piano picture!" She says wiggling and I set her down and she runs to the living room before running back holding the picture I drew for her that she colored in. She runs down the porch steps and hands the picture to Hunter and he smiles and hugs her before standing and he continues to walk and she waves to him. "Bye Daddy!" She yells in her adorable little voice and my heart melts. He turns as he steps into the bus and waves to her then looks at me before getting on all the way disappearing from my sight. I smile as Natalie runs back into the house past me. I shut the door and turn towards Hayley and she takes a deep breath. "Its harder now that we have a baby." She whispers and I nod and she sets Taylors carrier down before hugging me and we both start to cry. "Itll be okay Hals." I whisper and she nods backing away. "Let's just think about it this way, we have a huge house all to ourselves and our daughters. We can work on new designs, hang out like old times." Hayley says smiling and I nod. "We'll miss our boys, but itll be fun." I whisper and she nods smiling. "Two mommies now." "I never thought we'd make it this far." I whisper and she hugs me again. "But we did." She whispers and I nod smiling as Natalie runs into my legs and wraps her arms around them. "Hey silly." I say and she laughs looking up and I pick her up. Hayley picks up Taylor and Natalie goes quiet. "Baby?" She whispers pointing at Taylor whos sleeping. "Sleeping." She whispers and I nod. "Yeah, shes sleeping." I say and she looks at Taylor then at me. "Shh," Natalie says and I smile. "I'm going go lay her down." Hayley says and I nod. "Mommy where did Daddy go?" She says and I smile. "Wanna see?" I say and she nods and I walk into the kitchen with her and I open my laptop up and go to Skype. I call Hunter and he answers. "Hey beauty's, miss me already?" He says and I laugh and Natalie gasps. "Daddy!" She says touching the screen and Hunter laughs. "Hey princess." "She wanted to see where you were." "Well this is my bed/couch." Hunter says moving his laptop and Natalie looks at the screen. "This is where I work." He says moving the screen again and across from him is Sam. "Uncle!" Natalie yells as Sam was her 'uncle' even though neither Hunter or I was related to him. "Hey pretty!" He says waving and she waves before Hunter turns the computer back. "I miss you two already." "We miss you too." I say and Natalie nods giggling. "Picture?" Natalie says and Hunter smiles and turns the screen and on the wall was the picture Natty and I drew. "Piano!" Natalie yells and Hunter laughs and turns the screen back to him. "Yes I hung up your piano. Hey, Daddy has to go to answer a few calls. Bye girls, I love you both." "Love you!" Natalie says waving. "I love you too." I say and he smiles and waves before the screen goes black. "So do you like where Daddy is?" I say and Natalie nods. "I like him here better." She says trying to pronounce all her words right and I pick her up and hug her. "I like him here too baby girl." I say and she wraps her arms around my neck and I smile. I knew we could make it through the next five months, it wouldnt be easy, but we could make it work. At least I thought we could.
