-SKYLARS P.O.V-
"Hurry Skylar, you take only a million years." Hunter yells up the stairs and I walk out of Natalies room. "You wanna come deal with her? She won't stop moving or screaming." I say as I hear a yell come from Natalie's room and Hunter laughs and walks up the stairs and he goes into Natalies room, me following close behind. He then begins to sing while changing her diaper and she stops screaming and I cross my arms and look at him. "What?" He says laughing. "How do you do that?" I say before beginning to pack Natalies diaper bag. "She likes my voice?" "Well we knew that." I say smiling and he picks Natalie up and she is now dressed in black leggings with a red shirt and her little converse. "Thats how you can tell Daddy dressed you." I say kissing her head and she giggles and I wipe her tears from her cheeks. We then walk out of her room and down the stairs and we get our bags. I turn off the lights as Hunter puts Natalie in her car seat. I lock the door and close the door leading to the garage and we get in the car and begin to drive to the airport. Once we get there we pay for parking and go through security which seems like it takes forever and we finally reach the boarding gate and I knew that in a few hours wed be in our hometown, Breaux Bridge. I had lived there when I was little but we left for a few years before coming back and that was when I met the man who was now standing next to me holding our beautiful daughter.
-HUNTERS P.O.V-
I watched Skylar as she excitedly looked out the window of the plane before we took off and Natalie sat in between us on the plane playing with my phone messing with the camera. I smile as Skylar turns and looks at me smiling. "I'm so excited to finally be going back home." She says and I nod. "Me too." I whisper and she smiles. I see her lean against the window and she shuts her eyes and soon is falling asleep and I look down and see Natalie falling asleep leaning against my arm, my phone still in her hand. "My babies." I whisper smiling before closing my own eyes thinking about the next week and what it would bring for us. Skylar was right, I did need this break.
-SKYLARS P.O.V-
I wake up to Hunter shaking me lightly. "We're here." He whispers and I nod smiling and I pick up Natalies carrier and diaper bag as Hunter grabs our small bag we packed and takes Natalie whos still asleep. "The best part about not bringing much is that we dont have to go wait for our bags." Hunter says and I smile and shake my head. "You're a dork." "Thank you." Hunter says as we step off the plane and into the airport and we walk for a bit before we see Lynette. "Hey Mama!" I say smiling and she sees us and smiles before coming up to us and she hugs me and Hunter before taking Natalie who was now awake. "Gama!" Natalie squeals putting her hands in her mouth giggling and Lynette smiles. "Hey Natty, how old are you now?" Lynette asks and Natalie holds up two fingers. "Thats right, happy late birthday baby." She says kissing Natalie's forehead and I smile. "We got her some more instruments for her birthday and she really loves music. Everything about it." Hunter says and Lynette smiles. "Just like you." She says and Hunter nods and I smile. "Our baby girl." I say smiling. "So Skylar how's he store going?" "Wonderful, the girls are helping me out this week so we could take a small vacation but everything else has been perfect. We've been featured in magazines and we may be branching out and opening more stores." I say as we walk out of the airport. "That's wonderful, I saw the new baseball tees on the website and I absolutely loved them." Lynette says and I smile. "Thanks, I made those ones awhile ago." I say and Lynette nods. "They are absolutely perfect, and I can't wait to see more from you. You always loved fashion since you were a little girl." Lynette says and I smile and nod. "I remember when Hunter went to your house and had a sleepover in 6th grade. He came home the next day and told me that he was never hanging out with you again because you used him to model a dress you designed." Lynette says and Hunter bursts out laughing. "I did say that, didnt I." He says and I laugh. "I needed a mannequin, and my mom would never buy me one." I say laughing. "I remember you made me put on the ugliest dress." Hunter says and I nod laughing. "Im glad I got better at designing." "And I'm glad I told you if you ever made me put on another dress I'd never hang out with you again." "You were a jerk." "You put me in a dress." "Well you listened to me!" I say laughing as we all get in the car and Hunter nods. "Okay, I did listen to you but it's because I really liked you." He says and I smile. "And I put you in a dress because I really liked you too." I say laughing and Lynette laughs. "You two were adorable back then, and you still are now. I'm glad Hunter didnt hold a grudge and hung out with you again." Lynette says and I laugh and put Natalie in her car seat and take Hunters hand. "I'm glad too." I say and Hunter nods. "Me too." Hunter says kissing me before getting in the front seat with his mom and I sit in the back with Natalie. "Ready to go home?" Lynette says and Hunter nods. "I needed this." He says smiling and I smile too. "I think we all did." Lynette says and Hunter nods as we drive away from the airport.
