~Chapter 25~
-SKYLARS P.O.V-
I walk through the store and make sure everything's set up perfectly. "Ready girls?" I say looking at Val and Ashley and they nod and Val takes her spot behind the counter. Ashley goes to the door and the small crowd outside waiting to come in turns to the front. I smile and Ashley opens the door and the crowd of girls come in. I laugh as they begin to look around all chatting and laughing. "Do you have that shirt in stock?" A girl asks and I look down at my shirt that was loose but hugged my waist and flowed out and it was a sheer material and it had a black and white chevron design on it. "Yeah, right over here." I say smiling and I direct her to the rack with the shirts on it. "Thanks so much. I saw the shirt in my favorite magazine and I had to get it." She says and I smile. "Well now you have it!" I say and she smiles. "I love your designs." She says and I smile. "Thank you." I say and she smiles and walks to the front counter. The girls walk through the store 'ohh'-ing over some of the designs and I smile and take a picture and send it to Hayley. 'First day is a success, cant wait for you to come back' it says and she responds right away. I open the picture and its of Sam holding Taylor in his arms. 'I cant wait to be there either, I'm feeling better. I have them to keep my company.' It says and I smile at the picture before putting my phone in my back pocket of my black skinny jeans. "This is awesome!" Val says from the counter that already has a long line and I nod and see Ashley helping more customers. "Do you have this design, I'm a huge Hunter Hayes fan?" A girl asks squealing holding out her phone and it shows a picture of the Wanted baseball tee. "I wont be selling them here but they will be one Hunters website soon, but since your a fan, I have a few in the back." I say and she squeals and jumps and I wink at Val who smiles at me and I lead the girl to the back of the store. "Have you ever seen Hunter live?" The girl asks me and I nod smiling. "A few times." I say laughing. "Have you ever met him?" She asks and I smile. "Well I'm married to him." I say and she gasps. "Oh my-I didnt even realize. I can't believe I didnt notice that. You're Skylar Hayes!" She says squealing and jumping and I smile. "Oh my gosh, Natalie is so cute, and you and Hunter are adorable. I can't believe I'm talking to Skylar Hayes." She says and I smile and hand her one of the shirts and she squeals again. I loved Hunters fans they are always so happy, energetic, and kind. I hear a eruption of squeals from a group of girls outside and I smile and I hear Val. "Shes in the back." She yells and soon Hunter opens the door holding Natalie. "Oh my Hayes." The girl says looking like she was going to faint. "Oh hi! My names Hunter and I guess you know my last name." Hunter says and the girl nods trying to contain herself. "I was helping out this beautiful girl out by hooking her up with one of the Wanted shirts." I say and Hunter nods smiling. "I was just gonna come see how the store was doing but I can see that its doing awesome, even got some fans here." He says looking at the girl and I nod and take Natalie and she giggles. "Its going great!" I say and Hunter laughs. "I can tell! I'm so proud of you." He says and I nod. "So do you want to take a picture and I can sign something." Hunter says and the girl smiles and bounces and hands me her phone and Hunter poses with her. "Can you sign my shirt?" She says after they take the picture and Hunter signs the shoulder of her shirt. "I can't wait for the new album!" She says and Hunter smiles. "I'm excited to have everyone hear it." He says and the girls phone goes off. "My moms outside, thanks so much. I love you guys!" She says and Hunter smiles. "We love you too!" He says and she walks out the door. "I love your fans." I say and Hunter smiles. "It was really sweet of you to do that." Hunter says and I smile. "That was sweet of you as well." I say and he leans down and kisses me. "The store is beautiful and it seems like people love it." "I know I'm so happy," I say smiling. "Like I said I'm proud of you." Hunter says and he kisses me again. "Didnt you work today?" I ask and Hunter nods. "Natalie got fussy so I brought her home and let her nap and then I decided to come visit." Hunter says and I look at Natalie. "Were you fussy for daddy?" I say and she nods laughing. "You deserve it for blaming the messes, you make, on her." I say laughing. "Oh ha-ha, aren't you funny?" Hunter says and I nod. "I am." I say and I hand Natalie to Hunter. "I hate you." "I love you too." I say laughing and I go to the door. "I should get back to work." "I should get back to the studio if I ever want to release an album." Hunter says and I nod. "See you for dinner?" "Should I cook?" "Or I can grab something thats edible and not spaghetti or pancakes." "Like pizza?" "Pizza it is! See you around 7." I say smiling and Hunter nods and I open the door and walk him to the front and he kisses me before walking out. I help more customers pick out their items and six o'clock rolls around quickly, the day flying by. "That was an amazingly successful first day girls!" I say smiling and Val and Ashley nod excitedly. "See you girls tomorrow?" I say and they nod. "I'll lock up." I add and the girls grab there coats and bags before walking out and I turn off all the lights and grab my bag and I walk out to the car. On the way to the pizza place I call and order the pizza and I pick it up before heading home. I pull into the garage and walk inside and Natalie runs to the door her hair wet and shes in her pjs. "You gave her a bath without making a mess?" I say smiling as Hunter walks out of the living room. "Actually I had to give her a bath after making a mess." He says and I roll my eyes. "What did you do now?" "Well I was going to give her cereal for dinner and she dumped it on herself." Hunter says and I laugh. "Dont worry I cleaned the kitchen and fed her something else." Hunter says and I nod. "Thank you." I say setting the pizza on the counter and Hunter opens the box and takes a slice. "Guess what we are having for dinner tomorrow." I say and Hunter shrugs looking at me laughing. "Let me guess left over pizza?" He says and I nod. "You know me so well." I say smiling. "Hmm, I've know you for over 10 years and I married you. I hope I know you." "I love you." I say kissing him and he smiles before taking bite of pizza. "Want to watch a movie?" Hunter asks and I nod as we walk to the living room and Hunter sits down and I sit next to him leaning my head on his shoulder as we eat and Natalie plays on the floor as we watch and halfway through the movie she comes and crawls into our laps falling asleep and soon I see Hunter is asleep as well. I kiss Natalies forehead and she stirs slightly and I smile before I start to find myself falling asleep on Hunters shoulder.
