~Chapter 16~
-SKYLARS P.O.V-
I wake up and feel a kiss planted on my shoulder and I smile and turn around and I intertwine my legs with Hunters. "Goodmorning Hayes." I say and he laughs, his lips inches from mine. "Goodmorning." He says before kissing me lightly and he moves me so I'm above him. "Not this morning Hayes." I say kissing him quickly and standing and he groans and I get off the bed only wearing a oversized tee-shirt. "Please." He says whining and I stick my tongue out at him and I walk out onto the balcony, considering the house was secluded. I take in the cool winter air as the snow falls lightly on the ground and I feel my hair moved before Hunters warm lips go on my neck and I shiver as his arms slip around my waist and he puts his warm hands on my bare stomach. "Baby your freezing." He whispers, his hot breath on my neck and I turn around in his arms and I put my hands on his bare chest before looking up and kissing him slowly. He moves both his hands to my back pushing me up to him. I soon find we are inside again and the warmth takes over my body as Hunter lays me on the bed kissing my neck. "Hayes, I said not this morning!" I say giggling as his warm hands explore my cold body. "I don't like to listen." Hunter says against my neck and the shirt I was wearing as a night gown is pulled over my head and Hunter covers us both with the comforter.
After spending all day in bed, only getting out to feed Natalie and let her play before letting her nap. I decide to get a shower since Natalie would be done with her nap soon, I walk to the bathroom and get in and wash myself. I step out of the shower and I change into Christmas PJ pants and a red tank top and I braid my wet hair. "In a Christmas-y mood?" Hunter says laughing as he puts on grey sweat pants and black v-neck. "Well it is Christmas Eve." I say giggling. "Time is going by way to fast." Hunter says. "Hayes, we have eternity." I say smiling and he looks at me sternly. "Forever." He says correcting me. Hunter always told me he didn't believe in eternity because that meant never ending, but he did believe in forever because forever ends at one point for each person, and we all had to face the fact that our forever would end someday. "Forever." I say correcting myself and I walk into the hall way and into Natalie's room and she's standing in her crib. "Mommy!" She screams and I pick her up and she giggles. I kiss her cheek before walking out of her room and down the stairs into the living room where we have a big tree set up and decorated in lights and red and silver ornaments. "I'm glad I made you put this up." I say laughing as Hunter walks up next to me. "Though setting it up sucked, I'm glad I put it up also." Hunter says and I tilt my head back and kiss him. There is also presents under the tree all for Natalie wrapped in bright red and white paper. "I love Christmas time!" I say laughing as I take in the scent of the sugar cookies I made and I look out the window to see the snow falling softly. "I feel like I'm dreaming Hunter. How can I be here in this house with our daughter married to you? Its all I ever wanted." I say and Hunter puts his hands on my waist. "Repeat the last line again." He whispers looking me in the eyes. "Its all I ever wanted?" I say curiously and he nods. "You have given me all I ever wanted, and I'm just returning the favor." Hunter says leaning down and kissing me slowly but not crushing Natalie since she was still in my arms. I back away and kiss Natalie's forehead and I look up at Hunter and he wraps his arm around me. "Wanna watch a movie?" "What movie?" I ask smiling and Hunter looks at me smiling. "Remember you calling me over when we were 15 and you bought a new movie called 'The Polar Express'?" Hunter says and I bounce up and down and Natalie giggles. "You mean my favorite Christmas movie of all time!" I say laughing and Hunter laughs with me. "Trust me I know that its your favorite Christmas movie, you made me watch it probably over a hundred times and sometimes not even around Christmas!" Hunter says and I laugh. "Sorry about that." I say and he shakes his head. "I find myself watching that movie every Christmas because of you." Hunter says and I smile and kiss him lightly. "And I'm gonna carry out my tradition and watch it this year with you and Natalie." He says before walking down the stairs leading me to the living room in the basement and there is a ton of blankets and pillows on the floor and there is hot chocolate on the table. "Just like when we were young." I whisper and he wraps his arm around me and I lean up and kiss him slowly. "This is amazing." I say as I back away and he smiles. "Cmon." He says leading me to the floor and I set down Natalie and Hunter lays down and I cuddle next to him and he wraps his arm around me and I place Natalie in between us and we all cover up and Hunter plays the movie and we sip our hot chocolate as we watch.
-HUNTERS P.O.V-
We all lay down and I play the movie and I rub Skylar's back as we watch and Natalie bounces as each song in the movie plays, and Skylar watches, her eyes sparkling the whole time. The way she got into this movie made me smile, and she reminded me of a child watching their favorite show. I look at my two girls, both of them with their long blonde hair and blue eyes watching the movie. My heart pounds as we watch and Skylar looks over and smiles at me and she leans her head on my shoulder and halfway through the movie I can see Natalie fell asleep on Skylar's stomach. I look down at Skylar and I realize she fell asleep too and I laugh lightly. I turn down the movie and I lay my head gently against Skylars and I listen to the sound of Skylar and Natalie's light breathing and the soft music of the movie playing. This was all I ever wanted. I soon find myself begin to fall asleep also as the last song of the movie plays and the screen goes dark leaving the only sounds being the snow falling lightly, and the faint heartbeats of my wife and my daughter. My babies, my everythings, my crazies. I loved them both more than anything, and together they completed me. I feel Natalie move slightly so her head is cuddled into my side and Skylar's head lays on my shoulder still and I smile and soon I fall asleep quietly also.
