~Chapter 7~

-SKYLAR'S P.O.V-

I wake up alone surrounded by pillows and rose petals as the sun shines through the window illuminating the room beautifully. I stretch and sit up, putting on Hunters white button down shirt before walking to the recording room, where I knew Hunter would be as whenever he was happy I knew I'd find him there. I stand in front of the window and watch Hunter strum his guitar, and sing, but I can't hear him through the glass. I put on the headphones and listen to him sing a remixed version of 'I Want Crazy' and I nod my head as I listen happily. After he finishes he looks up and its as if his eyes light up like fireworks. He stands and walks out of the room and I take the headphones off as he puts his arms around my waist and spins me around before kissing me lightly. "How are you this morning Mrs. Hayes?" He asks and I giggle. "Is that all your ever gonna call me from now on?" I say and he laughs and sets me down. "Probably." He says and I smile. "By the way I have one more surprise for you." He adds quickly looking into my eyes and I look back at him curiously. "You know how you said how we have no room for when our families come to visit, and that the house is just to small for everyone?" He asks and I nod curiously still looking at him. "Well, I think I may have fixed that." He says and my heart races at what he said and I smile a bit nervous as well thinking about what on earth he could have done now. "So did you remember to bring clothes for us or are we leaving like this?" I say looking down at him as hes in only boxers and I'm only in his button down shirt and he laughs and nods before handing me a small bag and I smile. After changing into black leggings, a oversized grey sweater, and my converse, I put my hair up into a messy bun and I put on some perfume and mascara. Hunter walks in wearing black skinny jeans a grey v-neck and his converse. "Did you plan on matching us?" I say and he laughs looking down and shakes his head 'no'. "I just grabbed the first things I saw." He says and I giggle at the fact that we matched and not on purpose.

-HUNTER'S P.O.V-

I walk into the room and I notice Skylar and I are matching and I laugh as she asks me if I planned that to happen. I actually didn't I was in a hurry and grabbed the first things I saw. I was so excited to get down to the new house and I knew she would be thrilled when she saw it. She had told me she didn't want to have a big honeymoon, so we aren't having one, but we would still have a honeymoon, she just didn't know it yet.

-SKYLAR'S P.O.V-

"So where are you taking me, Hayes?" I ask as we get in the car and we drive away from the studio with the dress and Hunters tux in the backseat. "To our honeymoon location." He says and I smile. "I said I didn't want a big honeymoon!" I say hitting his shoulder. "That's why I didn't plan a 'big' honeymoon." He says and I smile again shaking my head. "You never fail to surprise me Hayes." I whisper and he laughs. "I'll take that as a compliment." He says as he takes my hand and he rubs his thumb along the edge of my knuckles. We drive towards Nashville and we come upon a dirt road, just along the edge of Nashville. I smile as he turns onto the road thats lined with trees and we drive for a few minutes, though it seems like hours, as I grow anxious as to where hes taking me. We pull up to the prettiest dark tan victorian house that had tons of windows lined with brown trimming. There was a wooden porch that wrapped around one side of the house to the back with wooden posts on it and a wooden railing lining it, and there was a stone walkway that led up to it. There was a huge brown door that led into the house, and there was a brown two person swing on the porch also. There was a upper part of the house and in the middle was two large doors with brown frames with a glass middle that led onto a small balcony that had a small brown table and two chairs on it. There was trees surrounding the huge yard and there was a large garage stationed next to the house with beautiful garage doors, and a driveway that led to it and it connected to the walkway that led up to the porch. This had been the house I had dreamed of since I was a little girl. "Hunter this is amazing! How long are we staying here?" I ask curiously and he takes my hand once again. "Forever, its ours." He says and I gasp and put my free hand over my mouth. "Hunter." I say quietly and he begins to talk again. "When we were 16 you told me you wanted to have a dark tan victorian styled house, which I wasnt even sure what that was at the time, and you wanted a big porch. You wanted three levels to the house and you wanted double doors that led to a balcony off your bedroom. You wanted to have a big garage and a large yard for the children you always wanted. You also wanted the whole area to be surrounded by trees so that your children could explore in them as they got older." Hunter says and I nod, remembering what I had told him when we were younger. "I never thought I'd get it though, I was just dreaming. How long have you had this planned?" I ask and he looks up. "For 3 years, I've been hiring workers to build and decorate the house exactly the way you wanted." Hunter says and I look at him astonished. "We havent even been together 3 years." I say and he smiles. "Skylar I've been in love with you since we were 16 years old, and whether or not we were together, I was going to give you all that you wanted." He says and I smile as tears well up in my eyes. "Ive been in love with you since we were 16 also, and I will always be in love with you." I say and he shakes his head. "I wish we would have told each other when we were 16." He says and I put my hand on his leg. "I think life played out the way it was supposed too." I whisper and he smiles. "Now do you wanna see the inside?" He asks and I smile and nod as he takes my hand and leads me up the walkway onto the porch and into the house and I gasp as we walk in. This had been the house of my dreams, and I would be sharing it with the love of my life, and our beautiful daughter.
