~Chapter 32~

Before I barely had time to think it was a week before Hunter had to leave, again, and I didn't think much about it until now, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I wasnt going to break like I did last time, but it would still be lonely here at the house, even with Hayley here. Today was mine and Hunters one year anniversary and he had something planned, so Natalie would be spending the night at my moms, I guess you could say we were in full parent mode now. Mom had moved in about three weeks ago and Hunter and I had been over every weekend to help unpack and she was finally moved in. Her house was in a nice small neighborhood in the suburbs of Nashville. The outside of the house was tan and it had darker brown trimming around the windows and it had a brown roof. The inside was filled with brown leather furniture and tan wood flooring and darker tan walls. It was a beautiful house. Hayley and I decided we would be paying Mom for babysitting Natalie and Taylor while we worked at the store considering the boys would be on tour. That also helped her a lot considering she wouldn't have to find a job here in Nashville. I take a deep breath and turn onto my back and I feel Hunters arms move around me. "Morning beautiful, what's on your mind?" He says and I look at him. "How did you know I was thinking?" "I've known you how many years now, and you thinks its weird when I know that your thinking about something." "I know." I whisper and he pulls me to him and he looks into my eyes. "Whats on your mind?" "You." "What about me?" He says laughing and he traces designs on my arm. "You leaving in a week." "Let's not think about that today and instead think that today marks a year of being married to each other." He says and I smile. "Happy Anniversary." I whisper and he smiles. "Happy Anniversary." He says back and I kiss him lightly. "Where are you taking me anyways?" I ask and he shrugs. "I dont know." "I hate when you mock me." I say sticking my tongue out and he laughs. "How about we just lay in bed all day?" "Sounds good to me except he have a two and a half year old to take care of." I whisper and he laughs. "I know, and I love that we have a two and a half year old to take care of." He says and I nod. "I cant wait for the next little Hayes." Hunter whispers and I smile. "Me either." I say and he kisses me. "Im going to get a shower, you feed Natty?" "Yeah you can definitely tell we are parents." Hunter says and I nod laughing and I walk into the bathroom and shower before getting out and I blow dry my hair and curl it so it falls in loose curls. I put on natural makeup colors and I walk out of the bathroom and into the closet and I put on dark skinny jeans with a white loose tank top and I put on black converse. I put my leather jacket on and the necklace Hunter had given me on stage during his first tour. I walk down the stairs and Hunter sees me and he stares and I smile. "You look stunning." Hunter says and I smile and look down and he brings my head up and kisses me. "I'm going to go shower, she's watching Tinkerbell. I already gave her a bath." "Shes watching it again?" "Okay, when isnt she watching it." Hunter says I nod laughing. "Ill watch her." I say laughing and I go out into the living room and I sit on the couch and Natalie is sitting on the floor watching and she turns and sees me. "Mommy!" She says getting up and she sits in my lap and I hold her. "Tinkbell!" She says pointing to the TV and I nod smiling and I laugh as she watches. I loved how she would watch the same thing over and over again and never get tired of it. The movie ends as Hunter walks down stairs, his hair combed over and he had a white t-shirt with black jeans on and his converse and he put on his black leather jacket and he was holding Natalies diaper bag. "You look like me." I say smiling and Hunter laughs. "No you look like me." He says and I laugh and pick Natalie up and turn off the TV. "Ready?" Hunter asks smiling and I nod. "Let's go." I say as Hunter takes my hand and we walk into the garage and I put Natalie in her car seat and Hunter puts her bag in next to her. Hunter drives to my moms house and we talk the whole way there while they music plays in the background. Everybody's Got Somebody But Me comes on and I laugh. "This song is kind of ironic now." "I wrote it while I was in this horrible new relationship and our first date was sort of a group date and I ended up being alone the whole night. Then when I dropped her off she said I'll call you and my phone never rang once." "Oh Hunter." I say laughing and I lean my head on his shoulder. "Its fine, I didnt really care." He says and I laugh. "Still that kind of sucks." "You must've had a relationship that just didnt work out." "Well ya I know one, the storys kind of embarrassing." I say laughing and my cheeks burn red. "Now you have to tell me." "Well I was 18 at the time and this guy, I dont even remember his name, asked to go get ice cream and I said sure. Well that night you called me and after three hours on the phone I realized I was two hours late already but after I hung up I called him and said I was on the phone with my job. He forgave me and came to pick me up and the night was so awkward and when he dropped me off I said Night Hunter." I whisper laughing and he laughs with me. "So its my fault I ruined your night by calling you?" "I didn't really care, I would've rather talked to you then go on any dates honestly." "I'm glad we were on the same page back then as well." Hunter says and I smile look at him. "Me too." I whisper and he looks at me smiling. Soon we get to my moms house and we drop Natalie off. "Have a good night!" My mom says hugging me and I nod. "We will, and hey, if she gets fussy put on Tinkerbell." I say and Mom nods. "Dont worry, I've raised a baby girl, I think I can watch one." "Thanks Mom." I say and Hunter kisses Natalie's head and we walk out to the car once again. "Now will you tell me where we are going?" I ask laughing and Hunter drives. "Remember what we did for my birthday three years ago?" Hunter asks and I nod laughing as he pulls up to the go cart race track. "You rented it?" "Absolutely!" Hunter says and I laugh. "Just like old times." I whisper smiling and Hunter nods. "Except I'm going to beat you this time." "So sure of yourself?" I ask and Hunter nods. "We'll see about that." I say getting out of the car and Hunter follows. "Its on." Hunter says as we walk inside and I smile.
