~Chapter 6~
-SKYLARS P.O.V-
As the reception ends, most are now drunk and leaving with their designated drivers for the night. "Skylar!" Hayley yells and I spin around my long dress spinning along with me. "Yeah?" I say and she laughs and I can tell she's drunk as she stumbles and falls into my arms. "Tonight has been amazing, you picked a good man!" She says and I nod. "I know!" I say giggling and she nods. "He paid for everyone's drinks tonight." She whispers and I shake my head laughing as Sam walks up. "I'm gonna take her home, don't worry about cleaning up, Hunter hired people to do that tonight and tomorrow." Sam says and I nod and hand Hayley to him. "Thank you Sam, I love you both!" I say and Hayley waves at me before falling into Sam and he walks away holding her to him and I smile knowing she had a good man as well. I notice the entire area is empty after everyone walks out saying their goodbyes and congratulations to Hunter and I. Tonight had been an amazing night surrounded by family and friends, and now I was Skylar Hayes. I walk around the big area taking in everything from the beautiful glow of the lights and the candles all around the room decorating the tables and the rose petals gently blowing in the wind. It was perfect. I continue to walk around, and I pick up a red balloon and push it into the air giggling slightly and I feel someone tap my shoulder lightly startling me.
-HUNTERS P.O.V-
I walk back into the big area that's glowing from all the lights and I see Skylar walking around her long dress flowing behind her and the rose petals floating across the ground lightly, she looked like an angel. I see her pick up a balloon and she hits it into the air giggling, the same giggle that made me fall in love every time I heard it. I come up behind her quietly and tap her on the shoulder and she turns around startled but she smiles when she sees me and my heart stops. "Skylar Hayes, may I have this dance?" I ask and she laughs. "We both can't dance, we better have an emergency kit ready!" She says and I laugh at her before taking her hand. "I love you Mrs. Hayes." I say before pulling her to me and I place one hand on her waist and I hold her other hand and she puts her free hand on my shoulder. "I love you too Hayes." She says looking into my eyes and I notice the sparkle in them, meaning she was excited and happy. We dance together in circles with no music, we didn't need it, our hearts beating together made their own song and it had been my favorite one of all time. I spun her around and her dress floated with her beautifully creating a dance of its own. "You really are stunning." I whisper and she smiles before looking down and I lift her chin with my finger before kissing her lightly. "Today was the beginning of our forever." She says inches away from my face staring into my eyes and I smile before leaning down again her soft pink lips touching mine. The kiss was slow and full of passion and love. The way she pulled away still staring into my eyes left me speechless, and my knees felt weak as I stared at my future, at my wife, at my everything. After knowing Skylar for 10 years she never failed to make my heart beat rapidly, and my knees weak. We stood there in silence staring at each other as the lights of the trees one by one where turned off by the guys I hired to clean up leaving only the candle light illuminating the room. I put my hands on her waist and pull her to me as she wraps her arms around my neck and our lips touch once again.
-SKYLAR'S P.O.V-
We stood there together in the glow of the lights staring into each others eyes, my heart beating like a drum and my knees felt weak as they always did when I stared into his crystal blue eyes. The lights one by one shut off leaving us in the candle light and I felt his hands go to my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Our lips touched together once again and I soon find his tongue dancing with mine. I find myself being picked up and I laugh as Hunter carries me to the range rover. "This ruins the romance." I say laughing and he laughs at me opening the door and he sets me in. "We don't have far to go." He says and I smile as he drives down the dirt road and onto the paved road. He turns on the radio and Wanted comes on as if on cue and I smile as we sing together at the top of our lungs, laughing throughout the song. Hunter pulls onto another road and I smile again as the song ends. "Where are we?" I say breathless and he shrugs. "You'll see." He says and I giggle. We pull up to the studio and my heart beats rapidly as I see what Hunter set up. "Hunter!" I say as I see the studios posts wrapped in lights and the stairs have lights on them with rose petals leading from the car to the front door. Hunter opens my door and takes my hand and I cover my mouth as he leads me to the door opening it. There's a black blanket with red pillows and rose petals all over it. There are candles sitting on the top of the piano that is next to the blanket making the room glow a soft brown being the only light in the room. I feel Hunters arms go around my waist and I feel his lips on my ear. "Do you like it?" He whispers and I shiver and nod before turning around wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him slowly. "Its beautiful." I say and he smiles staring into my eyes. "Ive seen better." He says before leaning down and kissing me I feel his hands travel down my back touching the buttons on my dress and he undoes them one by one slowly, taking his time. I slip out of my dress the rest of the way and lay it on the ground as he takes off his jacket laying it over my dress. I unbutton his shirt and he kisses my neck slowly making me gasp. He pulls the shirt off his shoulders and he lays me down gently across the blanket. "I love you Skylar Hayes." He whispers holding himself on one elbow laying over me, one hand holding my face and I smile. "I love you too Hayes." I whisper never using his full name and I soon find his lips on mine once again. The pile of clothes builds up and the only sounds that fill the room are our hearts beating together and my breath quickening as the nights events continue on.
