~Chapter 13~
-SKYLARS P.O.V-
I walk down the stairs and my phone begins to ring with 'Better Than This' and I know then that its Hayley. "Hey girl!" I say and Hayley talks on the other line sounding nervous. "Today we are taking pictures for the fall collection." "Hayley I thought that was tomorrow! I was going to hang out with Hunter and Natty down town today, and go shopping." "I need you to help me with this Skylar!" "Hayley its Hunters only day off since Halloween and fall will be over soon, I have family things to take care of." "I need your help Skylar! Are you committed to this business or not?" "I'm committed." "Then show up." Hayley says before hanging up and I groan and set my phone down and I lean on the counter and hang my head. Soon I feel arms around my waist and Hunters lips on my neck. "What's wrong beautiful?" He says turning me around. "I have to go to work." I say looking into Hunters eyes and his face falls. "Today's my first day off since Halloween." Hunter says and I nod. "I know, but my business is taking off and I need to be there to help Hayley." I say and Hunter nods. "I get it. I've had to leave unexpectedly too." Hunter says and I nod. "Plus you have Thanksgiving off and our parents are coming to the house." I say and Hunter smiles. "Is there not a holiday our parents come to visit?" "There not coming this year on Christmas, it'll just be us three!" "I was joking. Go to work today, its fine. I'll watch Natty." Hunter says and I smile up at him. "I have to go get ready." I say and Hunter let's go of me and I bounce up the stairs, even if I couldn't spend the day with Hunter, I was excited to do the photoshoot today. I get dressed in a baseball tee with the lyrics to Wanted on it and I put on dark skinny jeans and black boots and I curl my hair and walk down the stairs. "Did you make that?" Hunter asks pointing to my shirt and I nod. "Awesome advertisement for you, right?" I say laughing. "I may have to buy those from you and sell them." Hunter says and I shrug. "I don't know I'll get back to you. Should I schedule an appointment?" I say laughing. "Appointment my butt! How about I'll see you tonight?" Hunter says and I nod. "Fine by me! I'll be back for our appointment later, and your name is Mr. Hayes, right?" I say walking to the door and Hunter follows me and laughs. "Correct, and you are Mrs. Hayes, right?" He says mocking me. "Good memory you have Mr. Hayes! I'll see you later." I say laughing and Hunter kisses me and I walk out the door and to the car. I turn on the radio and 'I Want Crazy' comes on and I text Hunter. 'Your following me Hayes. Its crazy ;)' I say with a picture of the radio and I put my phone in the passenger seat and I begin to drive into Nashville and my phone rings. "Hello?" "Skylar where are you!" "On my way!" "Hurry up!" Hayley says and I groan. "Calm down! What are you pregnant, Ms. Moodswings?!" I say and the line goes dead and I grow curioud. 'What aren't you telling me?' I send the text to Hayley and I soon get a reply. 'I'll tell you when you get here.' She says and I set down my phone and I continue to drive. I soon arrive at the park we were doing the shoot at and I park and get out of the car and I walk to Hayley. "Finally Skylar! Cmon!" She says and pulls me to a small dressing room we had set up and there are many girls in there. "Hayley what were you gonna tell me?" I say over the chatter of the models and I work on one fixing her outfit and hair and I send her out to take pictures. "I'll tell you later. Skylar, your gonna flip." Hayley says fixing another models outfit and hair and I move onto the next girl. "I won't flip!" I say complaining and she shrugs. "I don't know about that." She says and I lean my head back and groan as I continue to work on the model. "Your a piece of work!" I say and she flips me off. "Love you Hayley." I say and she laughs and shakes her head at me. "Love you too Mrs. Hayes." She says and the model I'm working on squeals. "Your Hunter Hayes wife? 'The' Skylar Hayes!" She says and I nod and she squeals again. "Oh my god, tell Hunter I love him for me?" She says and I take out my phone. "How about we text him?" I say and she squeals as I take a picture of us. 'Met a fan! She said she loves you.' The text reads and I soon get a message back of a picture of him and Natalie and Natalie's on the counter helping Hunter bake something. 'We love you too!' It says and I show the girl and she squeals yet again. "Is that your daughter Natalie?" She asks and I nod. "She's adorable!" The girl says and I smile. "Thank you! Okay, your ready! Nice meeting you!" I say hugging the girl before she walks outside and I begin to work on another model. Soon Hayley and I have to take our picture for a magazine interview of the new fall collection and we lean on either side of a tree and we look back at each other. We then do an interview for the clothing line and for information about ourselves and the clothes. As we finish the interview Hayley begins to pack up and I run up behind her. "Tell me." I say and she drops her case startled and she turns around. "Okay Skylar, promise not to freak?" She says in a whispered voice and I nod. "Promise." I say and she smiles nervously. "I'm pregnant."
