I used to feel numb, now I just can't feel at all. All nobody knows that I am still not over Brook, acting happy is getting harder and harder by the day. I have to do what Brook told me.

"Uncle Jack come on the zombies are invading!" Lynn races into the room with her gun in both of her tiny hands.

"No they infiltrated?!" I play along.

"Come on the rest of the squad is blocking the doors." She whispers to me.

Grabing the play gun from the dressing room couch we sneak down the hall and up to a set of push doors.  "Ready?" I look at her waiting for our unison nod, but she looses her stance and drops her toy gun, it makes a firing sound. "What?" I ask confused. She takes the green sleeve of her shirt and rubs her eyes. Between looking behind me and looking into my eyes her mouth falls open.

"Nothing. I don't want to play anymore." She picks up her gun and walks with her head down on her way back the way we came. Following the sounds of her gun I find her  behind the the black stage boxes. "Who are you?" I stay behind once I notice she isn't talking to me. "Your pretty." I here jelousy in her voice. "You know Uncle Jack?!" She seemed suprised. "Yes, he seems sad sometimes. I try to make him happy." I come from behind the boxes.

"Come on Lynn, your mommy wants you." I take her sweaty hand from where she sits and walk her down the hall. She looks up at me the whole time, until she sees her mom.

"Mommy can I get my hair cut like this?" She holds her hand up, like scissors, to the very top of her long hair.

"Why would you want to do that?" Jess looks shocked that turns to an accusing glare pointed at me. I raise my hands in defense.

"Because.... um, so the zombies don't pull it." She keeps looking behind me as if someone is there.

"I guess it would be more tamed." She sighs. "Let's go, put your coat on."

"I don't want to mom, it's to girly." She sticks out her tounge. Jess holds up the three year olds peacoat.

"Fine go get your hoodie." She grabs her keys.

"Jacky do you like my hair?" Right before the nights show Lynn comes up to me with her oversized headphones.

"You look beautiful." I play with her shorn hair.

"That is what she said you would say." She looks behind me.

"Your mom said that?"

"No Brook said it, I look like her now!" She looks at me with her rosey cheeks. My face goes cold and I keep my eyes on an eyelash that has fallen on her nose.

"Did I make you sad Jacky?!" I hear her crying and I try to come back.

"No, no of course not sweety. Come here." I hold her on the couch for a while and she tells me about the woman that she met today.

"Uncle Jack don't cry I don't like it when your sad." She wipes the water from the corner of my eye.

"No they are happy tears." I tell her.

"Uncle Jack Brook doesn't like it when your sad either." She is holding my thumb now.

"I know." I tell her.

"She says she loves you." Her hand moves to my face. "She is always with you to, she likes to stand infront of you and touch your cheek, and hold your hand." Before I can say anything Zack steps in to get me for the show.

"Come on man. Hi sweet heart, where is all of your hair?"

"I got it off to look like Brook." Zack looks at me astonished.

"Well you look beautiful." He kisses her face and she giggles. Throwing her on his shoulder they leave the room. Lynn is my new most beautiful girl in my life at the moment and she reminds me so much of Brook.
