"Hey Pie, Oh my gosh. We thought we'd lose you!" Fern hugged me. What happened? And where am I? Sensing the look in my friends face I guess something bad almost happened to me.

"You almost drowned you stupid girl! We were so worried about you!" Puey said looking at me.

What? I almost drowned? I'm a good swimmer how can I drown? So that explains it. Maybe because of the foot cramp I had. I guess I may be so lucky.

"Pie! Thank goodness you're fine. How do you feel? Is something hurting in your body? Do you want to eat something? Are you injured?" Van came in running as soon as he saw me up in bed. I just nodded at him. I looked around the area and found Kim's eyes looking into mine outside the door. I smiled as I see her but frown as she went away and walked out of the scene. Didn't she care for me? I almost drowned but she hasn't even asked how I've been? That hurts.

"Who brought me here?" I asked, wanting to forget how cold hearted Kim was towards me. The idea of Kim not caring about me broke my heart. Here I was thinking that I had a chance with her, she is so...

"You should still rest. Van, we'll take care of Pie here. Thank you for assisting us." Fern interrupted my thoughts getting Van out of the room. As soon as he was out, my friends all looked at me with a look I can't determine. I bet they're worried but at the same time I think they're screwed?

"You are one lucky, overly clever, wonderfully blessed girl! Oh my gosh Pie! I think I'm going to die now!" Jane said jumping while hugging me. I can say I'm clever because I didn't drown. But I think this girl is exaggerating.

"Are you nuts? I almost died and here you are saying that I am clever."

"You can't remember anything can you?" Fah asked. How was I supposed to remember? I was unconscious.

"Kim saved you Pie. She was the one who got you out of the water. She was so worried about you when she saw you drowning. She swam as fast as she could just to get near to you on time." Puey said as he was looking at me with a huge smile on his face.

"And that isn't even the best part. Wait till you hear more." Jane said with a teasing look in her eyes.

"What did really happen?" I was nervous, for some reason I can't explain. I just really want to know what happened.

"Kim swam to where you were. She really swam as fast as she can. When she got you and you weren't moving she started to panic. As in panic like hell!" Fern was telling the story now.

"Pie! Pie please wake up! Hey, don't be like this." Kim was shaking Pie, but still managed to calm. She was panting the moment she got out of the water carrying Pie bridal style.

"Kim, she's not moving. What are we going to do?" Puey was panicking. Her friends were crying.

"I have to do this." And with a swift move, Kim resolved to do a CPR to Pie. Pie started breathing and coughing the water out after three attempts of CPR. Kim was relieved, Pie being able to cough the water out still was unconscious. They brought Pie to the room and let her rest a moment.

Seeing Pie was fine. Kim walked away and was calm seeing that she was fine.

"She did CPR to me?!"

"Yeah, she was so worried about you not breathing, that was the best thing that she can do make sure to save you."

I felt my cheeks heat up. Why does Kim always have to see me in my stupid clumsy moments? How can I face her now?

"But come to think of it Pie," Fah was speaking now, "I was hoping that your kiss with Kim would happen in a romantic way since that would have been so much sweeter, not in this kind of way where you were like dying." She said as if she wasn't really thinking of what she said. And with statement she got a couple of hands landed on her head and a death glare from me.
