I rolled into the administrative building and went up to the front desk. The attendant looked up from her computer. "Yes?" she asked. "I'm here to see John Hasashi," I answered. She went back to her computer and typed a few things. "Do you have an appointment?" she asked. I leaned forward and said, "Tell him his son is here to see him." She widened her eyes and got on the phone. "Yes? Hello? Sir, your son is here to see you." she paused, listening. "Yes, I'll send him right over," she said. She put the phone down and said, "Your father is waiting for you in dock 'C'. I thanked her and rolled outside. "Time to meet my father," I thought.

I arrived at dock 'C' after asking for directions from 4 different people. "Man, the base sure has changed since the last time I was here," I said. "That's because you haven't been here since they founded my new team," a familiar voice said. I turned and saw my father standing there. "Father," I said. He looked at me with piercing eyes, studying me. Then he smiled and said, "Give your old man a hug." I wheeled myself up to him and hugged him. "What happened to you?" he asked. "A fight," I replied. He raised an eyebrow as if expecting more, but didn't press the issue any further. "Come let me show you my new task force they formed," he said, signaling I follow him.
I pushed myself into a hangar where I saw three burly guys cleaning their weapons and armor. My father gestured towards them. "Here's my new team, Orion," he said. "What do you guys do?" I asked. My father smiled and replied, "Classified." I rolled my eyes, "Of course," I said. I rolled over to the closest table, intrigued and picked up a gauntlet. "Is this the experimental aura suit?" I asked. One of the guys stood up and looked at my father. "Your kid sure knows his stuff." He walked over and took the gauntlet from me. "This is the newest and most powerful version of the aura suit," he explained. "It is capable of taking five times as many hits a normal fighter can." He eyed my legs and looked at my father. My father shrugged and beckoned for me to tell him. I swallowed and looked at the soldier. "I lost the use of my legs in a fight and would like to fix them," I said. The soldier started to laugh. "Oh boy! Oh John!" he exclaimed. "Your boy sure has guts!" He turned his attention to me. "What you said is possible, but it takes weeks for one to even get used to the armor." I looked at him with determination and replied, "One week!" He looked a little confused. "What did you say?" he asked.
I looked into his eyes and repeated myself. "I'm going to do it in one week!" He stood up and looked at my father. "Is- is he serious John?" He turned to me. "You have got to be joking. The therapy itself is hell and the training as well!" he exclaimed. I steeled my expression. "I don't care, I'm going to do it," I answered. Before the soldier could go any further, my father put his hand on the arm of the soldier. "Let him try, Felix. He is, after all, experiment 427-3" My father smirked. "Aka 'Omega'" he said. Felix's friends stood up in disbelief. One of them pointed at me and exclaimed, "This kid is 'Omega'!?!" I clenched my fist. I hated that name. That was my code-name because I was supposedly the last thing my opponents would see before they died. Felix chuckled darkly. "Very well then," he said, cracking his knuckles, "Let's get started."

I wheeled myself back to the village and found out Ruby and the others were staying at a hotel, not far from where I was. I wheeled into the lobby and rolled to the front desk. "Uh excuse me, can you tell me what room Ruby Rose is staying at?" I asked. The man at the front desk looked for a little bit. "Room 86 on the 8th floor," he said. I thanked him and rolled into the elevator and pressed '8'. The doors closed and I saw a poster on the wall. "What's that?" I wondered. I got a closer look and found out it was an ad for the Vytal Festival. I slapped myself in the head in realization. I also have to get ready for the festival with my mess of a team. "I better get fixed up fast!" I thought. The elevator stopped and opened its doors. I rolled into the hallway and found room 86. I knocked on the door. It was thrown open and I saw Yang standing there in her pajamas, rubbing her eyes with her hair all standing up in a mess. "Who is it?" she yawned. I started to laugh and pointed at her hair. She opened her eyes and glared at me. "Hey it's not nice to laugh at someone!" she chided. "I'm sorry," I said. "Now hurry up and come inside, everyone is asleep," she said. I rolled inside and saw the only available bed was next to Blake, who was somehow occupying BOTH beds. I sighed and pulled a blanket over and covered my legs. I tried to get some sleep, but I was too excited, for tomorrow, I would walk!
