We arrived back in Beacon after a few hours. "We've arrived!" the pilot announced. I stood up and headed out the door, with Yang and the others not far behind. "Oh! I HAVE to show Weiss the super cute dress I bought for her!" Yang exclaimed. We arrived at the dorms and I turned and faced them. "You guys go on ahead," I said, "I have some issues I need to resolve." Blake nodded and said, "All right, see you in class then." They headed off to their rooms while I headed to mine. I walked up to the door and got out my scroll. I paused and sighed. "I gotta face them sometime," I thought.
I unlocked my door and stepped inside. I saw Zayne and Ezra arm wrestling on a table to my right. Yuuto was meditating on his bed, eyes closed. Ezra ended the match and walked up to me. "Look whose back?" she sneered. Zayne narrowed his eyes at me and made an obscene gesture. "I guess you finally had the guts to crawl back to us," she said. She pushed me into the wall and pinned me there. "What you gonna do?" she taunted, "You going to fight me again?" I clenched my fist and was about to retort with a snarky comment of my own when Yuuto interrupted me. "That's enough," he said, opening his eyes. Ezra immediately backed down and let me go. Yuuto stood up and walked up to me, looking into my eyes. We stood like this for what felt like hours. He finally backed up and held out his hand. "Nice to meet you team leader," he said, with a trace of a smile on his lips. I detected no sarcasm in his voice, so I decided to shake his hand. "Nice to meet you too Yuuto," I said. He turned to the team and pointed at me. "We should stop focusing on what he did before, but what he is going to do," he said. "Yeah, but he killed his team," Zayne started. Yuuto shut him up with a wave of his hand. "When I looked into his eyes, I saw a soul with no evil, a soul with pure intentions," Yuuto continued. He turned his attention to me. "We look forward to what you have in store for us," he said. Zayne stood up and threw his arms into the air. "This is bullshit!" he exclaimed. He stormed out the door and walked off towards the courtyard. Erza just smirked. "I'll be watching you real close," she said. I just nodded and walked over to my bed and sat down, happy I finally had a place to sleep. I placed my helmet on the nightstand. I unlocked my armor and stepped out, locking it again once I was free. I stretched and yawned. "Should I go after Zayne?" asked Ezra. Yuuto shook his head and replied, "Leave him be. He will see what I said is the truth once he cools down." Ezra shrugged. "Whatever," she said, "I'm going to get a snack." She walked out the door and left me alone with Yuuto. "I appreciate what you did for me," I said. He turned and looked at me. "Yes, I suppose you do," he mused. He looked back into my eyes. "Just don't ruin the trust I have placed in you," he warned. I nodded. "Of course," I agreed.

Later...
I went back to the outside of the library and got my backpack out of the bushes. I stashed it there because no one would mess with it and I had no where to stay for the past few days. I shouldered my backpack and started to leave when I saw Zayne at the fountain, sitting alone. I decided against my better judgement and walked over to him. I sat down next to him and asked, "So...what's up?" He looked up from his scroll and saw me sitting next to him. "Oh it's you," he grumbled. He went back to whatever he was doing. I sat in silence, thinking what I should say to him. "Sooo...you looking forward to the Vytal Festival?" I asked. He snorted and replied, "I was, before you came along." I felt a twinge of annoyance and stood up. I grabbed him by the collar and pulled him up and off the ground. "Hey!" he complained. I glared at him and said, "I don't know what your problem is, but I'm trying to do what's best for this team." He smirked and pushed me back and dusted himself off. "What's best for this team is you leaving," he retorted. I clenched my fist and growled. "All I'm asking is a little teamwork," I said, trying to keep calm. "Fine," he said, throwing up his hands. "I'll see what you have in store for us," he said. He paused and looked at me with a sinister look. "But if you screw up, I'm leader of this team," he said. I thought about what he said. I stuck out a hand and he shook it. "So we have a deal," he said. He sauntered off back towards the dorm, yelling over his shoulder, "See you in the morning!" I stood there, feeling a sense of pride in myself. "I have their trust!" I thought excitedly, "Now all I have to do is reinforce and build on that trust!" I smiled and started heading back to my room. "I can't wait to get started!" I thought.
