Chapter 41:Ready

Susie’s P.O.V

Harry left clearly pissed off. I felt bad for putting him that situation, he only wanted to help. I just couldn’t do it though. I couldn’t tell everyone about Tyler. I was embarrassed and afraid and guilty. Louis came over to me.

“Want to talk about it?” He asked, pulling me into a hug. I shook my head.

“Ok, but whatever just happened between you two, always know that he loves you. Whatever that was about, he will be back. He just needs time to clear his head. Don’t stress. Put it out of your mind.” I nodded.

“Where is everyone?” I asked him.

“Liam is talking to Danielle. He was a little nervous once he learned that you had spoken with her, but I think things are fine. They’ve been on the phone for a while. Niall and Zayn are comforting your friends. It was tough for them to see you like this. They weren’t expecting their little fighter to be broken,” he pinched my cheek affectionately, “Harry is, well you know. And you and I are here!” He finished up his list. He pulled out of the hug when Niall came in. Following him were my two best friends and then Zayn.

“Hey,” I whispered as loud as I could. I could

see they had been crying.

“Hey,” Leah mumbled. The boys took their cue and left the room.

“Why didn’t you tell us? We could have helped you.” Leah came over to my bed.

“I don’t know.”

“You don’t know or you don’t want us to know?” Sarah asked quietly.

“The last one I think.” She nodded her head knowingly.

“The Suze we know and love takes crap like that from no one. Where did she go?” Leah hugged me.

“She’s back,” I laughed.

“You need to tell Liam about Tyler. He needs to go to jail.” Sarah came over and sat on the bed. I rolled my eyes; everyone needs to just put a sock in it.

“I know. I’m just, not ready.” Leah pulled away and narrowed her eyes.

“Sorry for this babe, but you need tough love. You are clearly ready. The boys may fall for that ‘I’m in a fragile state, give me a break’ crap, but I don’t.” I laughed at her bluntness, same old Leah. I sat there for a moment, thinking. She was right, I was ready. That wasn’t the reason I wasn’t telling though; I didn’t want the boys to do anything rash. I decided to table this topic and return to it later.

“I’m moving to London with Liam.” I said.

“We know, they told us.” Leah patted my shoulder.

“We will be visiting often, though.” Sarah chirped in.

“You better.” I laughed. I had missed these girls.

“Poor Liam will have to put up with our antics every visit!” Leah laughed with me.

“And when we are not with you, we’ll be texting you.” Sarah added. I nodded. I had been thinking about our earlier conversation. I knew it was time…

“I need your help.” I looked between the two of them.

“Can you gather all of the boys in here? And then can you ask the nurse to call Seargent Herro?” The girls nodded and left the room. I was ready to tell the truth.
