Chapter 61: Suspicious

I woke with a start. My alarm clock was blaring and I was alone in my bed; Harry couldn’t come last night. Of course this led to a nightmare, a memory. I tried to shake the dream from my mind; Tyler had been convicted and was sitting in jail at this moment. I climbed out of bed and threw on my robe. I learned that the boys stopped by randomly and Liam got uncomfortable when they did so while I was wearing my ‘inappropriate’ pajamas.

“Liiiiam!” I called as I walked into the main part of the apartment. He wasn’t around. I sighed and plopped down on the couch, switching on the television. I heard the elevator buzz and then the doors slid open. I didn’t look to see who it was; I figured it was just Liam coming back from the gym or something. Of course it wasn’t Liam who walked into the flat.

I screamed as someone picked me up, but I was silenced as a large hand moved over my mouth. Whoever it was, I had a good idea who it was because of his scent, carried me into my room and threw me onto my bed, softly.

“Harry, what are you doing?” I complained, sitting up. He didn’t look back at me as he started opening my dresser drawers. I climbed off of my bed and tried to pull Harry away from my clothing. It didn’t work.

“Harry, you perve, stop going through my stuff. Where’s Liam?” He looked at me in the corner of his eye.

“I am kidnapping you for the day. Liam said that I could.” He stated simply as he continued to rummage through my clothing. I slapped his hands away from my stuff, but he just pushed me off.

“Can you explain to me what is going on?” I crossed my arms, frustrated. He stopped being a prick and turned to me.

“Ok, the boys are doing something today and I am not allowed to do it with them because they said I’ll just make it worse. They put me on babysitting duty… Liam actually personally asked me to keep you company. So, I need you to bring party clothes, a formal outfit, a casual outfit, a swimsuit and workout clothes with you. I will meet you at my flat in ten minutes.” He turned to leave, winking at me as he did. I rolled my eyes as he shut the door behind him. I quickly changed into some sweats and a tee-shirt. I brushed out my hair and threw on some foundation as well as a little bit of mascara.

Ok, I needed to bring some stuff with me. I brought out a canvas bag and threw my swimsuit and my workout clothes, yoga pants and a tank top, into the bag. Then I grabbed a fairly formal dress and some pumps into the bag, as well as my make-up kit. Then, I threw in a tight, short black dress as well as some costume jewelry. I needed to be prepared for whatever Harry was going to do with me. I was suspicious that Liam was ok with this, but I ignored my intuition and went along with it.

I brought my bag to the lift and traveled down to Harry and Lou’s flat. I expected Louis to greet me at the door, but he was nowhere to be seen. I made myself comfortable on the couch as I waited for Harry. I heard a bedroom door open and he swaggered out. He was about to go over to the lift when he noticed me on the sofa.

“Oh, hello. I almost didn’t see you there, sweet cheeks.” He came over and plopped down next to me on the couch.

“So, what are we doing today?” I asked, gesturing towards my canvas bag. He smiled and shook his head at me.

“I don’t think so, babe. I am not saying a thing.” He smirked. I sighed and cozied into him on the couch as he stole the remote from me and flipped around.

“Ok, well are we just going to watch TV?” I pressed.

“Mmmhmm,” he was distracted by finding something to watch.

“What are the lads doing today? I mean, if it was so important that neither you nor I could come along…” I tried again.

“Mmmhmm,” he didn’t hear my question, just answered blankly.
