I'll Never Be Your Mate

Chapter 13

"I has never saw girls bring boys for shopping and on top of that paying for their stuffs. It's always the inverse." I huffed while walking along with jake in the shopping mall. "That's what boys do, not girls!" I complained looking at Jake.

"It's okay, you can be the first one to change that concept" he smirked and in return I glared at him.

That's right I drove Jake to the shopping mall and accompanied him for his shopping and also pay for his things. And that's what he should do for me! It's always the boys who bring girls for shopping. It was always like that!

Well I can't say anything about driving him to the mall since when yesterday I called him to come home for the surprise, he left everything as it was and the process to get his car and rushed back to the beach house. I can't blame him for that. He even had to borrow clothes from Nick after getting out of the pool. He wasn't joking when he said that I owed him clothes, he mean it! So when he asked me no when he commanded me to buy his things, I didn't argue.

Here I'm hungry to starve and my feet is also hurting from walking since morning and it's nearly twelve o'clock. He mostly went store to store looking at clothes and not even buying it. And I have been carrying all his bags all the time and when he noticed that I'm having problem carrying all these bags, as sweet as he is, he took only two bags from me that was in front of my face, telling me that I can walk faster now and he will not have to take the risk to get his clothes dirty from having me falling down by bumping into other persons since it has covered my view.

I stopped walking and looked at him waiting for him to realize that I'm no longer at his side. When he did, Jake turned raising his brows at me. "Haven't you finished already? We already have clothes for one year here. Can't we at least take a pause?"

"Stop whining like a child! Are you scare that I'll finish all cash in your card? Huh?" this time it was my turn to raise eyebrows at him. On that he laughed.

"I have already finished since a long time. I kept walking only to tease you, your expressions were the good one to see" he winked. Huh I have been dragging everywhere and he was having fun teasing me. I huffed and furrowed at him. He chuckles and shuffling with my hair "Hey!" I glare at him. He chuckles "Come on let's get something to eat, I'm gonna treat you after all you did a lot for me today" he smirked and I give him a fake smile.

We end up in the food court, I went to find a table for us while Jake went to order. He came back with pizza in his hands. Looking at the pizza, my stomach growled I looked up at Jake seeing him laughing at me. I looked away, that's so embarrassing! I turned my face away and took my first bite, it was so delicious I moaned and closed my eyes in pleasure. I always enjoy food when I eat and it was amazing.

I opened my eyes only to see Jake's eyes turn dark blue and lust is in his eyes. "What?"

"Nothing just don't do that again" he said looking away

"What?" I'm confused, what is he talking about? "That sound" he said, his body was tense. Oh I realised what I did, I blushed. He just continued to eat as nothing happen. That's right why would it affect him after all I'm not that kind of person to make him feel him like that.

After eating in silence throwing the box in the dustbin and we made our move to leave taking the bags. This time Jake took half of it. I was walking behind Jake when suddenly someone grabbed my hand and halted me, I turned and saw Luke. The one and only one who pretend to claim me. Shit how could I let him slip out of my mind. He smiled smugly "Hey how was my beauty?" At hearing his voice, Jake turned and came instantly beside me and snatched my hand from Luke and pushed me behind him, grabbing my hands in his and growled. I could have a peep of Luke above his shoulder. After every scenario happened I completely forgot about him and his attack. I also haven't yet ask Jake about him. I stayed behind Jake don't know what to do but listen to them.
