When Luke said he'll came back for Ashley, I wanted to throw a wobbly and ripped his neck right there in the mall but when Ashley pulled my attention, I realised there was a lot people around watching the scene. I controlled my sense and my wolf.

If he said that he meant that, that means he will definitely do it because he always do what he say. He had always been jealous of me and he steals every girl I go out with. I had never mind before because I don't care or do I attach to the girls excepting one who was my close friend, Eva but I broke up with her before Luke even noticed.

I need to protect Ashley, mate or not I can't let a person harm because of me and Luke knows she is precious because she is the Luna of my pack. He will try to harm Ashley because this can cause an impact on my pack.

Thanks god we are not in my pack territory, if not he could take a wise step. I hoped he doesn't ever know about Ashley is my mate.

I was watching her back figure as she went inside the house. I don't know what took me to go running with her. It just like my wolf instinct worked up and wants to stay with her wolf and get to know her. I thought I had even confused her after all she had a confused expression on her face at the beginning but she let it go which I also planned to do.

I didn't know for how long I was standing in front the house with my thought that I didn't realise the time passed as the sky became darker. I thought it was time to go inside and I walked in the opened door. I heard voices coming from the kitchen and I made my way there.

Once I entered, I saw Ashley sitting on the stool bar with Stella and Nike learning against the kitchen island. Hazel was up on Ashley's lap. These past day, she had grown close to her. Normally Hazel do not go with anyone, she is very cautious.

I noticed they were listening amusingly at Sarah and Brandon arguing at something and I thought I interrupted something as everyone in the room stopped and turned to me. "What?" I raised my eyebrows at them surprisingly. Sarah and Brandon looked at each other and turned to me again. "We were voting for whether going to the bar or restaurant tonight." Sarah explained. "So... you want to go the restaurant?" Sarah looked at me with hope "Or to the bar" Brandon emphasized glaring at Sarah for not completing the sentence.

I eyed everyone warily, looking for help from this situation but in return, I received chuckles from others as well as Ashley. It seemed, I ended up stuck in their battlefield. "Uhm... why don't we go the restaurant first and then to the bar and in that way both your wish will be fulfilled. So what say?" I suggested as that idea came into my mind.

At that, everyone accepted. Ashley and I acted like nothing happened and behaved normally like always can't stand each other and I'm grateful for that because I don't want to. I went to get ready as everybody disappeared in their own rooms.

After getting out of the shower, I put on a black shirt with its sleeves rolled up to the elbow and a blue jean. I just passed my hands in my hair since it was wet giving it a messy look. I went down to wait for everyone and one by one, they descended. When Ashley came down, I tried my best to not stare at her when she looked so splendid in her red dress. It was sleeveless and ends up at mid-thigh, revealing lots of her soft and fair skin. Her hair was down, splaying on her shoulder. I find myself looking at her whenever she is not watching in my way. I really need to distance myself from her.

The girls went in a car and the boys and I went in another. I like the way it arranged, I don't want to be found in the same car as Ashley.

We pulled out in front a casual dining restaurant. As soon as we entered, we met up with a waitress. She smiled at us while checking Nike, Brandon and I out from head to toe lustfully. Stella and Sarah let out a low growl that only a werewolf could hear which didn't stop the waitress ogling us. Angry, they pulled their mates by their sides and wrapped their hands around Nike and Brandon's arms possessively. At that, the waitress snapped from her daze and looked away embarrassedly. I let out a chuckle and looked at Ashley to see her reaction only to find her indifferent.
