I'll Never Be Your Mate

Chapter 3

After that awkward moment, I got in my car and left. That was so embarrassing. Everyone must have heard. No some of them, not everyone in the office is werewolf. Practically you could say half of them are humans. Humans didn't acknowledge that werewolf exist. Except if some werewolves' mate are human then theses mate can know the reality. They also turned werewolf, the werewolf community accept that.

However werewolf or not, everyone have already got the news as gossips went fast there. But really! To say the truth I'm not a virgin.

 All the werewolves in my high school had already got their mate at age of sixteen. We were already eighteen but Sarah, Stella and I still hadn't ours.

I was nearly to lose all my hopes on mates and love but I met Austin, the most wonderful and cute guy of the world. I met him in the beginning of my last year in high school.

 He also hadn't meet his mate. Yet he raised my hopes again and made me believe more in mates. He cheered me up and  made me reason that our mates can be in another part of the world and we just have to wait when fate decided to make us meet. He was very sure that one day he would meet his and I would meet mine.

 Since then, I never give up. We became close friends even Sarah and Stella got along with him. He knew how to make me laugh and happy. We had many things in common. As we like each other, we became boyfriend and girlfriend. I had some boyfriends before but it didn't go more than kiss and if they got emotionally and confessed their love, I broke up with them quickly.

 I knew that all boys had already lose their virginity before they have theirs mate so I though then why girls can't. Since we knew each other for a long time I thought it was okay to lose my virginity to Austin. He was my first and I was his first. We had a lot of fun. Everyone in the school thought that we were mate as we were so lovely dovely but we weren't. He was the perfect boyfriend. Sarah and Stella was also happy with me. They also had their boyfriends at that time just like me.

After graduation, Austin went to Europe to do his degree. Before we became boyfriend and girlfriend, we both knew that this relationship would not last longer and it would not take us any far but still we went for it because we knew we weren't made for each other and our half is waiting for us.

Even after we broke up and did our farewell, I felt neither sad nor upset in spite of it I felt happy and felt myself free and relieved.

We are still friends  but after that when I got to university, I lost contact with him but I thought maybe it is better like this.

When I thought of Austin and Jake, both of them are handsome and hot but I found myself believed that Jake is more alluring and handsome. However Jake is a jerk whereas Austin is sweet and has good manner. I had preferred Austin to be my mate, at least I wouldn't be heart broken. 

I just had to wait for the right moment to give my revenge for what Jake did in the office.

As I came in front my courtyard, the metal gate automatically opened up. I drove on the driveway and parked my red Mercedes convertible in the parking lot that was in front my house or you could say mansion. As I got out of my car I noticed there was three cars. It was my dad's black Acura RLX and a grey Audi A6 but I was more attracted by the black Lexus Ifa which I assumed it was to Jake as it was a sport car. Wow it was so beautiful. He had a good taste.

I stopped drooling and made my way to the three story mansion.  I walked through the big garden which my mother treasured. I opened the big wooden door and met Mary, the maid as I entered in. She smiled warmly at me and delivered me a message before going. She said that my farther told me to come in the living room when I arrived.
