"You're in heat" her word faltered as she had said it slowly.

Everyone looked with wide eyes at me. I shot another scream, forcing them to come out from their stupefied self. An intense pain shoot down slowly from the side length of my body and settled in the pit of my stomach. A burning heat sprang there. "God make that stop!" I shouted. I closed my eyes. I thanked there wasn't any male here. Nick and Brandon were mated wolf, they would not be affected by my heat.

"Jake" someone mentioned his name. His name touched my burning body like a light feather. My wolf groaned in arousal.

I thought that Brandon spoke. His voice wavy in alarm "b-but he went in another town for pack purposes. He won't be back till the night"

"Then we have to make him come sooner. He must have realised Ashley's condition already." Sarah's voice rattled on. "Now c'mon someone pick her up and bring her in her room"

Nick took me in his arms and rushed me in Jake's room. I tried not to sigh from Nick contact on me. It's weird to feel this toward a person you esteem as your brother. As Stella bolt the door open, Jake's scent strike me hard. I bite my lips to hold my moan. Today I had seen what people used to say about heat was truth. You will thirst to have your mate's touch and crave him to fill you in. Right now, I was feeling the same.

Nick followed Stella to the bathroom and sank me in the Jacuzzi. Stella opened the tap and water fill in. I sighed at the cold water. She closed it back when the tub was full.

"It is better I go" Nick scratched his head uncomfortably and left the room. Sarah closed the door behind his back.

Where is Jake?

I doubt he would come today.

Was the heat needed to come now only? Just when I challenge him to succumb to sex.

My werewolf gene had a bad timing. He needed to prepare my body for child making in worse time. Couldn't it had occurred when Jake and I were on the same page?

If he came around, he would compel to mate me again. After all, werewolf male was the most affected person by his mate's heat. If his alpha ego was too big, I'm afraid he will not come.

But for sure, if he come, I would be the one to jump on him first. This thing was so agony. It's like it was eating the organ inside the flame is burning my inside slowly and intensely.

Soon the water was not enough for me. I moved my clothes off me as if I didn't hurry up, the fire would burned me alive. The girls helped with my clothes.

"I'm going to bring ice" Stella went out hastily.

I rested my head to the wall and closed my eyes, swallowing the pain.

Stella came back in a minute. She poured a big pack of ice in the tub. The temperature dropped down. I groaned in relief. Tears ran down from the corner of my close eyes. I sank deeper in, letting the ice melt with my hot body.

Some hours later, when the heat cooled down, I came out of the tub. After drying myself, Stella and Sarah moved my tired body on the bed. They sat by side as they watched me try to catch some sleep. Sarah was running her hand on my forehead when we heard Brandon voice outside the door.

"Ashley we have contacted Jake. He is still in the other town. He said he is trying his best to come as soon as possible" Brandon's voice had an edge of worry. "Uhm... how can we help you?"

I looked up at Stella and Sarah and met their worried eyes. "Take the guys out and please stay outside tonight please"

They stared wide eyes "How can we leave you alone? How will you cope alone-"
