I stopped when I sniffed a strange scent. I lifted my hands in front of me to stop Sarah from speaking when she was about to open her mouth.

I brushed hairs behind my ears, trying to hear more clearly. Then I heard footsteps.

"Well, well, isn't this the Luna of famous midnight moon pack" a voice said behind me. I turned and faced the person. I met his green eyes that looked straight at me.

He had dirty brown hair, tall and well built. He was good-looking, but he had an aura of dangerous people that you should stay away from. The two men smiling smugly behind him, making it clearer by matching his evil one.

The air around them was malicious and menacing. I instantly been alert along with Sarah and Stella and stood in front of them. I growled. "Who are you? How do you know me?" I demanded

"Sorry, I don't want to have an angry Luna here." The dirty brown hair guy lifted his hands in surrender, having a mockery smile. "I'm Luke, alpha of Shadow Pack and a good friend of Jake" he said sardonically.

I knew that pack. It was nearby Jake's pack, but both packs were not on a good term.

Still on my guard, I asked, "You are from Colorado, then what are you doing here?"

"Well, I heard Jake is gonna be here for holidays, so how will I be satisfied until I smash his holidays? But I never thought I would meet a beauty here" he smiled ironically.

No doubt he was talking about me, not when his eyes repeatedly kept wandering from my head to toe. I felt dirty under his regards.

I just want to hide, but i knew my friends could protect themselves, though I need to be there for them.

"Who, a pig?" I hissed.

"Now, don't insult yourself, beauty. I'm talking about you. "

"Do you even know what a beauty is?" Stella chided.

He just laughed cynically and ignored her.

"Needless to say, that bastard always got the most beautiful girls," he jeered.

I growled again, but this time louder. I don't know why I didn't like the way he called Jake even though I hate him.

"But this one is special to have become a Luna." He came closer and stood one step before me and caressed my cheek, but I immediately jerked his hand away.

"Don't you dare to touch me!"

"Now, don't be angry, beauty. You don't look nice like that. "

"Stop calling me beauty. I'm not your beauty!" I snarled

"And she isn't even a puppet to be emotionless" Sarah added. Well, he didn't like Sarah to interrupt.

"Just shut up. You don't know who the hell you're talking with!" he bellowed at her. Instead Sarah be scared, she faced him straight.

"Oh you just fuck off you asshole. You don't even know who the one you're taking trouble with!" Stella exclaimed.

I know that the girls are strong, and we are trained for any type of situation. They won't back down for anything.

I faced him straight with Sarah and Stella on both sides, and I smirked at him.

"Feisty, huh? I like feisty girls, but I'm more interested with the feisty one who is in the middle" with that Luke pulled me towards him, turned my back to him and put his arms around me. I fought it but his arms were very tight. Being in his embrace, it was like I was touched by dirt , I felt disgusted, and even his scent smelled like pungent as he put too much perfume on him.

"Everything that I'm interested in belongs mine. And I'll make sure that you become mine, no one can stop it. Not even that bastard Jake." he whispered and blew his nasty breath on my neck.

Now I can't take it

"LIKE HELL YOU OWN ME. ONLY ME HAVE THE RIGHT TO SWEAR HIM"

I elbowed him in the stomach and stamped on his foot with my heels. Then, I kicked him in his stomach. He must have had a good shot that made him fall clutching his stomach. At least his nauseating smell wasn't close to me, I could smell a little as he lay some meters away. It nearly damaged my nostril.

The two guys from behind lunged at me, but I bent, and they went forward. Nothing less to say, Sarah and Stella occupied them. They kneed them where the sun shines and kneed them on their head when they bent in pain. I laughed at them.

I preferred fight in my human form with Luke as it seems an easy type win fight but I was wrong, I regret it now. Once I moved towards the girls, a hand tugged me behind made me yelped, it twisted my hands behind my back. With my werewolf force, I could endured the pain.

"It's not finished yet beauty" Luke said once again his pungent scent came to my nose. "Look, even your little bad friends can't help you now" both, Sarah and Stella were trapped in the same position as me by the two beasts and they were trying to get free. "I said before, you are mine and I'll definitely make you mine"

"And I said NO ONE OWN ME" I roared

It's started making angrier and my whole body shook to shift in wolf but the pressure he added more on my hands, enable me to shift. The pain also became intolerable and made whimpered in pain. Even though I hate him, I just wanted Jake be here. I sensed my wolf calling his wolf.

"Don't talk to me like that!" his voice boomed in the forest.

Instantly he thrown me away. I flied in air and crashed on the nearest tree. I landed down on the ground. It had bang me hard on my head, the pain was unbearable, and all the bloods were rushing in and out. Everything became blurred. I fluttered my eyelashes to stop the darkness took over me but I felt my eyes heavier. But before my eyes shut, I saw a big  grey black wolf lunged at Luke with two other wolves behind him.

I wondered if it was Jake.
