~2 Months Later~
Stars shine in the night sky, contrasting against their dark background. For the past two months, Caleb and I have been visiting family. Our parents funeral was held, it was small and lovely just how they would have liked it. Many of our family continuously offered us to live with them but we declined. Maybe it would have been easier for us to take that option. But life isn't easy. We know that now.
Caleb and I soon arrive at our new home in Chicago. After our parents passed, we inherited their money and since they were rich well we were all set for our fresh start. I miss them so much. Will I ever stop feeling this way? Maybe this new town, new life will help me forget about my past, even though that's nearly impossible.
Tomorrow I start at a new school called Divergent High and Caleb starts at Erudite College in a couple of weeks. I walk up to my new room and start decorating straight away. The walls are black and teal, the bed is white with teal and blue sheets. My dressing table, mirror and lounge is white. The flat screen TV is across from my lounge and I have a massive walk in wardrobe. I am in love with this room!
I walk around the house which has ten stories! I start at the tenth floor which is a floor for friends and sleepovers, the ninth floor is a games room, the eighth floor is guest rooms and bathrooms, the seven floor has a dance, recording and gym room, the sixth floor is mine, the fifth floor is Caleb's, the forth floor has a couple of study and reading rooms, the third floor is a theatre room, the second floor has a huge kitchen, lounge room and family room and the first floor is our garage which has two mustangs (one hot pink and one dark blue) two Lamborghinis (one red and one purple) and one jeep that has 10 seats. Outside we have a pool, spa, sauna and a huge tree house with videos games and stuff. So like I told you before, rich and all set. I go back up to my bedroom and get ready for bed, as soon as my head hits the pillow I'm out like a light.
"Mum! Dad!" I race towards them, tears blurring my vision. "Please don't leave me, I need you."
"They're gone. You can't save them." A black figure looms over me, standing way too close for my liking. I take a step back, only for the shadow to step closer to me. "And you can't save yourself either." It lunges towards me.
"NO!" my body awakens and crashes forward. It was just another nightmare, I'm okay. I'm okay. My forehead is lathered with sweat, as well as the rest of my body. I had hoped that the nightmares would stop. I just want them to leave me alone.

Caleb walks into my room, ready to wake me up. But I'm already awake. I have been for the whole night. The nightmare continued to run through my mind and I soon realised I was never getting back to sleep.
"Another nightmare?" Caleb sits on the edge of my bed. My nod answers his question. "They'll go away eventually."
"Hopefully. They're a pain in the ass."
"What if we get you one of those dream catchers?" That gets me to chuckle a little. "Sorry kiddo but it's time for you to get ready for school. A new start, remember?"
I groan and drag myself to my bathroom. The warm water awakens me a little but not enough. I guess I'll just have to cover my bags up with makeup. I get changed into black high waisted shorts, a black crop top that says 'pancycake' in big white letters and a denim jacket.
My outfit shows off all my curves. I pull my waist long blond hair into a high pony tail and do my make up. Running down stairs , the smell of pancakes wafts through the air. There's Caleb in the kitchen making them for me I LOVE HIM!!! "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I yell.
