savannah's pov
"so where are we actually staying?" jack asked, whilst we waited for our suitcases at baggage claim.
"well, i was thinking my parents house for the first few days then yours after".
he groaned, "are we really going to spend the whole ten days with our parents?".
"it's not me, it's them" i told him. "mine wouldn't take no for an answer and your mom called me, because she knew that you'd disagree straight away".
he hugged his arms around my waist from the front and pulled me closer, "can't we just get a hotel? there will literally be no time for, you know...".
my eyebrows knitted together, "why not?".
"babe, i am not having sex with our parents right next door" jack whispered.
i chuckled and poked his side, "can't you control yourself for ten days?".
"no, and you know very well that you can't either" he cocked his eyebrow.
"...okay fine, i'll figure something out" i gave in.
he let out an adorable 'yes', before putting his arm around my shoulder to continue waiting for the luggage.
things are going pretty well for jack and i at the moment. the morning after the event last week, we throughly talked out our problems and made up.
i just knew that coming back to california was what we'd been longing for, since the whole vibe with our friends and family would just help us remember the good things and realise how stupid all this arguing is.
soon after collecting our suitcases, jack and i walked out of arrivals, trying to look past the many people with signs for their passengers.
but it was until we saw johnson waiting for us in the middle, whilst stupidly holding a sign that read: my ugly best friends!
he waved once he saw us laughing from afar, before we approached him.
i settled my luggage down with a fake gasp, "johnson, you've grown taller".
"no, he hasn't!" jack quickly disagreed.
"shh," johnson hushed him as we hugged each other tightly. "this is why i like her more than you sometimes".
i pulled away, "um, sometimes?".
"okay, fine. all the time" johnson corrected and i let out a pleased smiled.
"says the guy who calls me everyday crying about how much he misses me" jack mentioned, before he put johnson into a headlock and they started messing around like twenty-three year old children.
"that never happened!" johnson exclaimed.
i covered my face from the people walking by, "you two are so immature, this is why i'm embarrassed to be seen with you".
"that's a complete lie because you've missed me too, savannah" he finally let go of jack and planted a massive and slobbery kiss on my cheek.
i pushed him away and wiped my now, moist face, "keep dreaming, johnson".
he rolled his eyes and took my suitcase, as we headed outside of the airport where sammy and nate were waiting by the car.
