(A/N: Warning, violence in this chapter. I suck at writing it explicitly luckily so it shouldn't be that bad)
Seeing Zeno out of nowhere in my original appearance was surprising. I was afraid he realize that I was Ash and get mad, but he did not notice a thing. It was dark so I suppose that helped. If he saw me in the day... he probably would think I'm Kaya's reincarnation. He would definitely not buy that it's a dream.
But seeing him look at me as who I really was, really lighten my spirits. I have been living in the house for a few days. The house was near the border so I could just rush over if anything happened to them, which I doubted, but I worried for the four of them. They might have some trouble since they will be further from the Hiryuu Castle.
Then I felt something strange. Hakuryuu's presence felt like it was fading.
Could it be? No, his life can't be in danger. It must be the effect of being further away. It should subside in a bit, he has a lower immune system being more cooped up in his village, it is no wonder that the others are doing better than him.
But that night, I felt another presence fall. It was Ryokuryuu. The next day, it was Seiryuu and Hakuryuu showed no signs of recovery. That was my sign to go and help them. I packed up my things and fixed the door that I broke.
I saw a small pile of rocks. I haven't really been out of the house in the day. It must be my grave. It felt weird standing in front of my grave. Strange since I am dead.
Oh wells.

While I was walking there, I heard a couple of people talking about how Kouka and Kai had a fight and they won. The soldiers must be very frustrated and enraged. The land on the other side once belonged to Kouka, I presumed that that was what the war was about. Kouka just wanted to claim back some land. I jumped across the river and made my way towards their presence.
The ground was trembling and the wind was shaking. The battle had ended, but what was with this uneasy feeling? It was best I get to their side as soon as possible. I rushed over and saw a lot of soldiers up against one familiar guy. I went closer in for a better look and it was Hak.
"Wow, what is this completely unfair battle? An entire troop up against one pathetic human?" Kinryuu asked using my mouth. She took partial control meaning I could perfectly see what she was doing.
"There's a woman here!"
"Take her with us!"
"Oi! You be quiet and come with us."
Kinryuu smirked and stabbed the man with a knife that Ash carried around. Fire surrounded Ash and those that charged at her burned once they came in contact with the fire.
"Kinryuu... Let's ask what is happening from Hak," I suggested to her.
"That human over there?" She asked and walked over to Hak and killed everyone as she walked there. "Oi! Human! What the hell is going on here?"
"Ash? You are late you know kid?" Hak asked. "Wait no... You aren't Ash right? That look in your eyes. You are Kinryuu right?"
"Right on human," Kinryuu replied. "You are not as dumb as you look. So what's the situation?"
"These soldiers want to kill the common folk of this land before it gets taken away by Kouka," Hak replied.
"To reduce their loss huh, what sore losers," Kinryuu sighed. "I am overpowered so I could just sit here and kill everyone, to be honest, but that's boring isn't it?" The knife she held burned and transformed into a sword. "And as interesting as this is. I am more intrigued by how Ash would do, so bye bye." Kinryuu removed her control and gave me full control of my body.
