After we watch three episodes of Supergirl, I get up to grab more drinks and popcorn from Lorenzo's mini bar.

"I still can't believe that you have a mini bar in your room. You don't even have to leave it. There's all the necessities right at the disposal."

Lorenzo laughs and gets up to put on a movie.

"Wait, why are you changing it? I like Supergirl!"

"Okay! No need to yell."

"I'll yell when you change it. Anyways, I'm trying to catch up. So put on the next episode."

Lorenzo obliges and the popcorn finishes popping. I walk over to him and touch his jaw gently.

"How is it? He hit you pretty hard, but it's been two hours, it should be fading and it shouldn't leave a bruise."

"I'm fine. It doesn't even hurt."

"Mm-hmmm," I mumble, unconvinced.

"Well, maybe if you kissed it, it'd heal faster."

I smile and lean up to lightly pepper kisses across his jaw. He grabs me and pulls us onto the bed. I squeal and roll off of him. Lorenzo leans over me and puts his lips on mine. I smiles and kiss him back.

"Lorenzo, there's a vis- oh!"

Lorenzo pulls back to see Myklyn staring at us in shock. He smiles sheepishly and I bury my face in Lorenzo's shirt to hide the blush taking over my face. Lorenzo looks down at me and his grin grows wider. He rolls off the bed and walks over to Myklyn.

"Yes, mom, we've kissed. And we were kissing. And I'd like to go back to that, so if you don't mind."

"As happy as I am that you two are dating, there is a visitor for you," Myklyn says happily.

I get off the soft duvet and walk over to Lorenzo. He leads me to the living room where I see a familiar head of brown hair.

"Zaquen?"

"Linnea!"

"What are you doing here?"

"As much as I'd like it to be a visit, I'm actually here on business. Since Lorenzo is part owner of Kiendar Investments, we're going to need to also talk to him."

"O-okay. Go on, Lorenzo," I say as I push him towards Zaquen.

This is the first time in over a month that Lorenzo hasn't been by my side and I feel somewhat put out. But we both need some space to see where we are. Lorenzo gives me a quick glance before leaving with Zaquen to talk business.

I walk to the backyard and use one of the small boats to hop onto one of the cabanas in the middle of the pool. I grab a drink from the mini bar in the cabana and lay down on the couch.

Without Lorenzo by my side, I feel lost. Like I don't have a purpose. It's almost like how I felt before meeting him. I had no one and I wanted to die. This just reveals to me how much I really need Lorenzo. He's the one good thing in my life and without him I literally can't survive. I stare at the ceiling, not thinking, when a click jolts me out of my state. I turn my head and see a reporter with a camera.

"What are you doing here? Get out!"

"Ms. Zyriac, how do you feel about dating Lorenzo? Do you think he'll cheat on you like he did with all of his other girls?"
