I'm Still Learning

Ch.7

             Peridot's Pov

        I went up to Steven's bedroom to find him watching things on his phone. "What is that?" I asked looking at the moving images on his phone. "Oh this is one of my favorite TubeTubers, Good Mythical Morning!" It's about 2 guys that do crazy and weird things for entertainment!

       I looked over to the title. "Will it cookie?" "Oh yeah it's funny!" After Steven said that he put a tiny speaker thing in my ear. We watched the will it cookie episode together and it was hilarious! These's 2 men put things on cookies that I'm sure you don't put on them. After a hilarious 11 minutes, it was over. 

      "That was pleasant." I said with a chuckle. "Do you want to watch another one?" He asked. "Nah." I said laying down on my stomach. "Then what do you want to do?" Steven asked while laying down right next to me."I came up here to give you a present!" I said getting a little closer to his face. "What is it?" He asked curiously. I then kissed him on his cheek and pulled away.

      He jumped up and asked "What was that for?!" "Isn't it a way to show you care about someone?" I asked confused. "No." He said he said blushing. " Oh." I then got embarrassed and  I could feel my cheeks heat up. "No don't be embarrassed." He said as he got up and hugged me. "Is it my fault that you thought the kiss was for friends?" "Kind of. But now I think I know what it's for and that's even more embarrassing." I say as I pull away.

        Steven's Pov 

     I feel embarrassed. Mostly because she might know why I kissed her yesterday. I just want to kiss her but I don't know if she feels the same way as I do for her. Maybe I'll do something sweet for her tomorrow so I can tell her. She didn't seem disgusted by the kiss, and we almost kissed yesterday and she didn't question it, and I have a feeling Garnet told me to tell her this for a reason so maybe she might be into me?

    "Well I've got to go before it gets dark Steven." " Would you like me to walk you there?" He asked. " What a cute gentlemen you are Steven.Yes I would love for you to walk me to the barn." He chuckled at my comment and to be playful he said "May I madam?" He reached out his hand to grab mine. I chuckled before saying  "Of course you may." I learned how to talk like that from a movie me and Steven watched a few days ago. Steven then opened the door and said "After you my lady." With a wink. "Way to be a good gentlemen Steven." I said walking out the door. He grabbed my hang again and we made our way down to the barn.
