I'm Still Learning

Ch.14

           Peridot's Pov

     'He wants to be Percy and Pierre with ME?!' I started freaking out in my head while on the outside all I did was stare, then I felt my cheek get hotter than the sun.Not literally of course. He opened the black box that was beside him and gave it to me. "It's a ring that was made to look like an arrow that's wrapped around your finger. You know cuz arrows strike hearts to make people fall in love." I looked down at the ring still in the box. 

    "H-How will I know if I-I want to be Percy and P-Pierre with someone." I finally managed to say. "Easy, when you care about someone very much and you get weird feelings in your chest when your around them, you sometimes what to cuddle up with them and never be seperated from that person. When he explain what I had felt for a while now I know knew my answer, but instead of saying it, I did something else.

   I leaned in and closed my eyes I felt my lips touch his as Steven stiffened up. I did too not knowing full what I was doing. But after a few seconds he calmed down and melted into the kiss which gave a sign that I have done good. We stayed that way for what felt like Forever, then he pulled away. "Is that a yes?" Steven asked already knowing the answer. I guess he just wanted me to say it with words. I rolled my eyes playfully. "In every human Language." I finally said. He picked up the box, took out the ring and put it on my second to last finger. He then pecked my lips once more and said. "I love you Peridot." I did something that I'm sure he didn't expect. I hugged him tightly. "I love you too Steven." I said. He hugged me back then we heard a weird noise.

    "Is that.... Clapping?" Steven asked pulling away. We looked up to see Lapis! "Free cheers for the new couple! When are you guys getting married?" She asked raising her eyebrow. "Lapis how long were you even there!" I asked every annoyed. "Not long maybe 2 or 3 seconds......" I sighed in relief.  "...... after you guys put down the blanket." She giggled when my face when from a relief face to I'm gonna kill you face. "Of course! I can't have one evening with Steven ALONE!" I yelled face palming. Hey, I'm just here to make sure you guys down go past a Kiss." She said raising her eyebrows twice. Me and Steven blushed at what she meant. "First of, we are outside Lapis!" I said. "and second, do you know how old we are!" We both said at the same time.

    "Whatever."Is all she said before leaving. "Do you want you dessert?" Steven asked pilling out doughnut and strawberries with chocolate on them. 

             Steven Pov

      I pulled out one of the stawberries and and fed it to Peridot. Then I got one for me. Peridot then looked like she was in deep thought. "What's wrong Peri." I ask. "Well, now that were together, what do I call you. Is there a name of couples?" I smiled. "Yep, it's called boyfriend and Girlfriend." I explain. "Oh, Ok!" We finish our dessert and I pack up and head home. "I love you" I said."Love you too." She said and headed inside. As I walked back I thought about everything that happened just now. 'Man, what a day.

    Author Note: I know I said I wasn't gonna make another chapter today but tomorrow my cousin is having a baby shower and I'm gonna be busy so.... You got lucky this time. Luv you bye!
