Ch.25

       Peridot's Pov

   Me an Steven decided to wait for Lapis at a table. After a while, I got bored. I noticed that the song changed to a song that had a nice tune, I then got an idea. I got up and started dancing like how Steven once taught me. "Hmm?" I all Steven managed so say when I motioned with my finger for him to come. We soon started dancing together and steven and I had alot of fun. Soon the song ended and another came on.(Since Im stupid, just use any song you want, I used pity party melaine martinez) This one was alot more up-beat. Me and Steven also danced to that one. I started twirling and doing other appropiate dance moves. Steven grabbed my hand and twirled me followed by dipping me. I wasn't really prepared so it caught me off gaurd. 

      Steven then picked me up and spun me around in his hands, while I hand my arms spread out. The end of the song came to an end. (You can still listen to the song if you want) Lapis came back a few moment later at our table. "Soooo, did you guys have fun? She asked. "What?" I said. "You guys were dancing alot! I watched you from a near by building." She said with a smile. I was just about to comment about what a creep she was when we heard people screaming. 'Thats not good.' I thought.

      Stevens Pov

   We heard people screaming and all the music stopped. The sky then turned red. I looked at the sky and saw a homeworld ship, simular to the rubies. I gasped as it came closer and closer. I saw the crystal gems warp in almost as soon as I saw the ship. They were with Lion. "WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE?!?!" Pearl freaked running up to us. "I'm scared!" I heard Peridot say as she clung on to my shirt.

    I looked down at her. Her eyes tearing up as she tried to hide them. "It's okay. Your with us now, I promise as long as I'm still breathing, nothing bad will ever happen to you." I lifted her up onto her own feet. People were running all over the place, not making it easier to keep them safe. I get Garnet to calm them down before I speak. "People Of Beach City! I Know Your Probably Confused and Scared, But to Be Safe, You Must Evacuate the City!" I announced. The all hurriedly got in cars and drove away. 

      I looked back at the gems and Lion. Loin seemed to have something in his maine. I pulled it out to reveal A RUBY?! "LEGGY?! What are you doing here." I asked startled. "I was in the form of a cat so you would let me come to your house, I came to warn you that the others found there way back to homeworld and told the Diamonds everything! They are coming back with an army!!!" She panicked. "Then why are you helping us?" I asked. "I knew it was wrong, something about the planet seemed so harmless, I just couldn't." She confessed. "Well, it doesn't matter now, all that matters is that we protect our home! " I say. As the ship lands, we all stand tall, Ready for whatever is gonna come out of there.
