Ch.16

            Peridot's Pov 

        I looked around the Barn infuriated. "Lapis where are you?! You can't hide forever!" I then heard a slight giggle behind our "Art work" as Steven calls it. I saw a part of a sapphire blue dress. I when I saw it I tiptoed over there very quietly. When I got there I saw I lapis that could hold in her laughter anymore and fell down to the ground and laughed on her back while kicking he legs. I however found nothing funny of the situation and was very impatient for her to stop laughing before I pulled her out of the hiding spot. "This girl use to give me death glares everyday, now she's playing with me like a gemling." I mumbled.

     "Watcha need dot?" Lapis asked still on her back with one arm on her stomach. "Why did you tell Amethyst?! There are other crystal gems that will be better off telling then Amethyst! Tell Garnet, tell Pearl, tell Yellow diamond for all I care! But Amethyst!?" I started pacing back and forth thinking of all the ways make fun of us. 'It's Amethyst for gem sake! What wouldn't she tease us about?!' I thought. "Relax, Amethyst is the better one to tell anyways, Do you know what Pearl woulds have done to you?" She got up off of the ground dusting herself off. "And I'm sure Garnet already knows about that." I face palmed thinking that Amethyst told her. "Future vision remember?" She pointed to her head. "Oh, Right." I remembered. "But still you told someone, but now that I think about it, I'm glad you didn't tell Pearl." I chuckled.

     Well now you can relax and be with you boyfriend now." She said. "What me and Steven aren't supposed to do anything today." I was confused. "Funny you say that, Because he's coming up the hill." She pointed out the door. I quickly turned around. "Hey Peridot!" He said running up to us. "Oh, Hey Steven! What a suprise." I wave at him. He comes up and hugs lapis then me. "Me and Amethyst where gonna go to FunLand later do you wanna come you two?" He asked. "Nah I'm good."Lapis said smirking while looking at me. "Ok, how about you Peri?" "Oh, Ok fun land is a pretty nice place to go." I blushed while smiling knowing that Lapis only said no because she's helping me with Steven. "Ok, well at 2 where going so be ready. He went back to the temple. When he left I sighed.
