Ch.9

               Peridot's Pov

      I was inside the barn getting ready. I figured I should change my clothing for once. I thought of what I should wear for Steven's and my's meet up. I finally thought of the perfect thing to wear and with a flash of light, I was wearing a yellow summer dress with a green bow in my hair and a pocket on my chest with a alien that looks like my alien plushy. I said by to lapis and she said "Have fun!" Really feminine like. Weird, but I don't think much of it. I shrug and walk out the door.

            Lapis's Pov

     "She just left.Over." I said speaking into a walkie-talkie. "Great! Thank you so much lapis!" Steven said on the other line. I would do anything to help him. Even if it meant he would date my barn mate. I then flew over as fast as I could. when I reached the temple I landed.

          Steven's Pov

      I saw lapis fly over and land. "Great your here!" I said. "Garnet! Lapis is here!" I called out. Garnet came Out of the temple with 3 boxes with the supplies and decorations. "Everyone grab a box  and take it to the barn." We all took a box and jumped off to the barn. When we got there we set the boxes down and started to clean up and decorate the barn. A few minutes later Pearl got back from the Mall. "Steven I got it!" Pearl said handing a small black box to Steven. "Thank you so Much Pearl! Did you get dad?" I asked. "Yup! hey stu-ball!"

     "Dad!" I yelled running to him. "I heard my sons gonna ask Peridot to be his girlfriend.I got your little something to help with that." I blushed. You didn't have to do that. "It's just something to be more of a gentlemen. "He then gave me a bag with the suit from when we went to empire city with Pearl. "Imma go change too. I think it will be the best thing to wear." "Us too!" Pearl said. "Great!" I said running out to go get changed. When I was finally changed I sat over the cliff. "I hope she says yes. I said as I go back to the barn to help them get ready.

    The barn has lights and flowers everywhere and all of Lapis's and Peridots stuff Pearl organized and moved out of the way. It was almost 5:00 so we got the walkie-talkie  and tolaAmethyst to come bring Peridot over!
