Ch.11

         Peridot's  Pov

  It's the morning after the big ' Incident' and I'm just here at the barn which is back to the way it was. Lapis is flying around again. I wonder where she goes. I'm on the couch thinking about yesterday. 'Why did Steven do all of that just for me? I nothing special. If anything he's the special one.' I sighed. It looked like the picnic was for us and the tables inside was for the gems and Steven's dad. ' Why weren't we inside with the rest of them? I have a feeling he wanted something out of me.I need answers.' When I got up from the couch Lapis came back.

   "Hey peridot!" She said walking up to me. "Alright Lazuli, what was it?" I folded my arms. She had a confused look on her face. "Yesterday! what was it that Steven wanted out of me! I know you know!" I said tapping my foot. "If you want that information your talking to the wrong gem." She said with a smirk. "I don't want to play this game. I know he told you." I walked up to her. 

    "Maybe, but when we were cleaning up he made us all vow not to tell you until he did." she stated. I got very annoyed. "If it concerns me then why can't I know about it?" I asked. "Again, asking the wrong gem." She said then laughed. "If you want to know so badly then why don't you go ask him yourself?" She chucked. "No! I don't even know if he wants to see me after yesterday. He maybe wants time to himself." I blushed. "No, It'll be fun! I'm sure he'll love to see you!" She said as she took my arms and took off. "Aaaaahhh! You all know that don't like flying! what is this?! Piss off Peridot week?!" I yelled. "No! And watch your language! Is that the way you talk around Steven?!" She asked. " Lapis Take me back the barn and Put.....Me.....Down!" I screamed louder than I ever screamed before. "Fine, Geez." She said and flew back. 

    When we got back she let go of me. "I was only trying to help answer your question." She smiled. "That isn't how you help answer anything! You help by telling me the information that is needed! I pouted. "Whoa, calm down. Steven was right. You are like a Slice of pie when your angry!" She burst out laughing. I rolled my eyes. "I'm going outside. I laid on the ground and looked out at the sky for hours. It was now 6:30 for before It was 3:00. I sighed "Maybe I will get some answer Tomorrow." I said as I walked back to the barn.

      Steven's Pov

 I didn't visit Peridot today because I needed Time to think. Think about what else I can do to st up the perfect setting to tell peridot I like her. Since the other plan backfired. Atleast we got the sword away from Connie and I doupt she'll come back any time soon. I went to  my dad for more Idea's. "I just don't know what to do." I told my dad. Why don't you do what you did  yesterday?" My dad suggested. "All of the things were destroyed remember?" I asked. "No everything, the picnic! It was simple, romantic, what not to love?" Dad your right!" We then proceeded to talk about what foods would be in the basket and where the picnic would be. "I think that's all!" I said and ran home to get every thing ready.

    Author Note: Sorry for the short chapter but there's anothor one coming out today and If I somehow motivate myself to work on it right now then It will be done in a few hours. ( I can't bother doing it right now but i's coming out today!) I luv you bye! ^-^
