Chapter 2

~~~~~Perrie's POV:~~~~~
"We've got to go now! Hurry up!" I say to Zayn as he shuffles around our house. We've mutually decided that it would be nice to add someone to the family, but I'm not ready to have my own. We have to be at the orphanage at 10am. I glance at the clock. It reads 9.46.
"Aww... C'mon! Just a few more minutes..." Zayn protests.
"Nope! I'm going now!" I march down the stairs and through the front door, breathing in the fresh air.
"This is an important day in your life, Perrie!" I mutter to myself. I jump into the drivers seat of our Mini Cooper and jingle the keys in my hand. Zayn finally stumbles out of the front door.
"Off we go!" I say cheerily as I press down on the accelerator.
~~~~~Zayn's POV:~~~~~

Perrie is so excited. She's not really looking for a young kid, more an older one that can look after her own. That's because we've both got such busy scheldules. We nearly couldn't even fit in our wedding for God's sake!

It's her descision. I don't have much to do with it.

"We're here Zayn!" Perrie exclaims energetically. The building is no different to any other building surrounding it. Apart from the sign hanging over the big front door, reading: 'London All Girls Orphanage'.

~~~~Jade's POV:~~~~~
I left Arianna's room this morning at 3am. She cried and talked about her dad and how she wished she had met her mum. I don't miss my mum. I don't even know her. She left me here when I was 2 years old. I don't remember anything from before then.
I lied. I do remember something...
~~~~~Flashback~~~~~

The sound of the car's engine fades away, as the driver takes the keys out of the ignition.

A lady looks down at 2 year old me in my baby-carrier. With her very dark brown hair, dark brown eyes and olive skin, she looks just like me.

"Waaaaahhhh!!" I cry.

"No, Jade! Don't cry." she murmurs as tears trickle out of her own eyes. "I'll miss you so much, my little munchkin."

Someone opens the door roughly and takes hold of the carrier. They swing me out of the car. I catch one last glimpse of the lady, my mum, before I am swept into the front door of the orphanage.

~~~~~~~~~~
I don't cry often, but this is an exception. One part of my heart still loves my mum, even though I don't even know her.
"Jade!" I hear Arianna call from downstairs. I blink the tears away. I guess the first group of people have arrived. Adoption Day has begun.
