Perrie and I were just talking about random things. Then, suddenly, she asked:
"Arianna, how would you like to be adopted by Zayn and I?"
My breathing begins to quicken and I feel a wave of excitement run through my body.
This was my chance to start again.
Have a family that actually loves me and takes care of me.
"But what about Jade?" A small voice in my head says to me.
"I thought you said that she was practically your sister? You don't want to betray her, do you?"
"NO! Arianna stop thinking bad things!" I repeatedly chanted in my head.
But this is my life, not Jade's.
Zayn and Perrie look at me with pleading eyes.
"I thought you said you could never trust a man again, Arianna?"
No. Getting adopted would be a new start for me.
I take a deep breath and walk over to Zayn.
I look him straight in the eye.
I pull him into a slight embrace and say:
"I would love to be adopted by you and Perrie."
Zayn looks at me and a warm grin appears on his face. He huggs me back tightly.
He steps back and says: "Arianna, I promise that Perrie and I will always keep you safe and we will always love you."
Tears begin to well up in my eyes. Perrie walks over to us and I embrace them both in a giant group hug. They are my family now.
