~Xander's POV~
What was it about Carly? she has an amazing story. she has been through so much. an amazing girl like her should never have to go through so many horrible things. yah my life hasn't been any better, but at least I had Kayla to help me keep my ground, she had no one she had to face it all on her own.
She is so beautiful and so down to earth. she is not afraid to tell it how it is and I like that. the way her blonde hair fell was absolutely perfect. and her eyes. she had the most amazing aqua eyes I seemed to just get lost in them.
But what really surprised me about her was her strength. and I do mean fiscal strength. I know this a a strange thing to admire but the way she pined me to the wall with such ease was amazing. It seamed that pining me to the wall was as easy as squashing a ladybug.
Why do I feel something toward her I barley know her. I have known her for like 30 minutes! so why do I feel like I need to get to know her more? I don't know was it that I just felt bad for her? was I attracted to her? do I just want to be her friend? am I in love with her? I have no clue the answer to any if the questions I only knew one thing and that was I wanted to get to know her better.
"Hey Xander " Kayla says as I open the door while unpacking her suit case
"Hey Kay, what are you doing?" I ask her
"Just unpacking. where have you been?"
"Just talking to someone."
"Who?" she asks looking from her suitcase
"Just someone I ran into in the hall" I say
"Oh really what's her name?"
"Why do you assume it was a girl?"
O
"You were smiling and blushing when you walked in"
I laugh a little at her
" you got me, you got me," I say while we both laughs little "her name is Carly."
Kayla looks at me for a little while
"What?" I ask
"You like her don't you?"
"What?" I say taken back by her question
"You like her. don't you?"
"Why would you say that?"
"When you said her name, you smiled."
"You know me to well Kayla" I say sitting down next to her
"Of courses I do you practically raised me" my heart sinks when she says this. she is right i did raise her in fact I was the only family she ever had.
" i don't think I did that bad of a job either " I say smiling at her
" You did a better job than anyone could have ever done"
I take her head in my hand and kiss her forehead
"I love you kay"
"I love you Xander" she says wrapping her arms around me. I wrap my arms around her little body and play with her long blond curly hair. I pull away after a little while
"You hungry?"
"Yah!" she says
"Haha ok come lest go get something to eat"
And with that she skips happily out the door
