The party

Carly's POV

I put half my hair up with a little bump at the top and put loose curls in the ends of my hair. I put on my dress and my black high heels, finish doing my makeup and leave Josh's bathroom.

"Josh?!" I call to josh

"I'm in my room, be down in a second babe!" he yells back down

I go into the living room. there is a big couch facing a giant smart TV hung over a fireplace. on the mantle of the fireplace is pictures. I walk over to look at them. They are all pictures of who I am assuming is Josh's family. I stop at one picture. it has a picture of a man and a woman in probably late 30s. I assume they are Josh's mom and dad. An unexpected tear falls slowly down my face. I have always wanted a mom and a dad just for a day i want to know why it feels like.

I hear josh coming down the stairs and quickly wipe the tear off my face and turn to josh now in the doorway if the living room. He is in a gray collard shirt with a back jacket over it and tie the same color as my dress.

"Carly, you-you look amazing!" josh says with an astounded expression on his face

I blush and walk over to him and give him a peck on the lips

"I think I can say the same about you."

He also blushes and says "as much as I would love to stay here and just stare at you it's almost five so we should probably get going."

"Haha okay" I say

We arrive at the biggest house I have ever seen! It has a fountain in front with colorful lights projected into the water. The landscape is absolutely perfect! The house is probably 5 floors high, it's absolutely magnificent!

I can feel the beet to the music from outside. they even have security guards outside to get in!

I grab Josh's hand and hold it tight considering I'm a little out of my element.

"Are you ok Carly, we don't have to go if your not comfortable." josh says to me

"No it's okay I want to go I'm just a little out of my element." I say smiling at him

"Okay, but if you want to leave at any point just tell me and we can go." he says

"Haha okay" I say to him

We walk up to the security guard

"Hey josh!" says the guard who I assume is about 19 or 20

"Hey Ky!" says josh as the two guys to this strange handshake

"Ky, this is my girlfriend, Carly" josh says and I put my hand out to Ky and Ky takes it willingly and shanked my hand and says

"Very nice to meet you Carly" he says happily

"You too" I say

"Well, I'll see you guys later have fun!" Ky says letting us in

"Thanks man" josh says to Ky

We walk in and are immediately surrounded by people all making small talk and having fun and a lot of them so drunk they are barley saying real words.

Josh and I quickly get out of the crowd of drunken fools and go over to the bar area and dance floor area.

"Hey,josh " says some guy coming over and man hugging josh

"Hey, Chris! great party" josh says

'Oh my gosh it's Chris Massoglia!' I think to myself. what? just because I'm dating a celebrity and have never seen a movie in my doesn't mean I can't fangirl over other celebrates and don't know of celebrates
