Chapter 25

Antonio's P.O.V.

An author once said everything you can imagine is real

"Laura just threw this in my face" I said putting down on the table in front of Gabby. She as at my house while Taylor wasn't, she was busy with Jay

"Have you opened it?" She asked leaning her arm against the chair at the kitchen table

I crossed my arms across my chest "No" I looked at the unopened envelope then up at Gabby

"Well what did she say?"

I sighed and thought about if I should tell her what Laura told me. Then I thought about the envelope, what the hell is in there?

"Antonio" Gabby waved her hand in front of me face. I snapped out of it and looked at her "Just open the envelope"

I shook my head slowly "I don't know"

"If what's in here is about Taylor you should open it. I mean why would your ex wife give you an envelope about your girlfriend"

I stared at the envelope "True" I moved around "Maybe I should just ask Taylor, she'll tell me"

"What if whatever is in his envelope is something bad? Come on Antonio think why in the world would she give this to you? Do you know everything about Taylor?"

Taylor sat on the stool at bar with Jay next to her "So where's Antonio?"

She wrapped her hand around the cold beer bottle "He's spending some time with Gabby"

Jay took a sip of his beer and nodded his head "How's it going between you two?"

"Pretty good" Taylor gave a goofy smile and chugged a gulp of beer down her throat

"Look sis" He grabbed my hand that was resting on top of the counter "I think no one will ever be good enough for you but your happy. I can see that, and even though Antonio is ten years older then you and has two kids.. and is divorced" He said going on

"And your point is?"

He chuckled "Right, well. I'm just saying that you deserve to be happy. And I'm happy that your happy"

She smiled "Thanks, that means a lot"

He raised his beer to me "To happiness"

Taylor chuckled and clinked her beer with his "To happiness" They both pushed the beer to their lips and took a drink

"Hey the party is here!" Will exclaimed as him and a few others from med and firehouse 51 joined us

"Alright, let's do some shots!" Jay shouted and raised his hand to get Hermann's attention

"So" Gabby said

"What?" I asked crossing my arms and looking at her

"Antonio we've been standing here for the past 15 minutes, are you going to open the envelope or not?"

"I.. I don't know" I said very hesitant
