Taylor's P.O.V.

Oscar Wilde once said be yourself; everyone else is already taken

Silence filled the air for a minute. I could hear the night crickets chirping away outside. I bit my lower lip "Look Antonio, I can explain this"

"Better be a good explanation then"

"Everything was expunged, you were never suppose to see this" I tried maybe getting around it

"Damn it Taylor just tell me" He said sounded frustrated

I was some what frightened by the time of his voice but it was understandable. I exhaled and set down the papers "Years ago in New York a friend and I were walking Manhattan when we saw a robbery take place. We figured why not try to stop it there were only two guys from what we saw. It was a small store so we quietly approached but we noticed they had a hostage. The guy who owned the store"

I grabbed onto the kitchen chair with my hands "We were stupid, we should've called the police but we'd didn't. The two robbers both had guns they pulled out. After so much of threatening one thing led to another and they shot the guy. But somehow they took off and made it look like we did it, they were masterminds. There was no way we could prove it so we ran" I explained "Eventually we became fugitives and everything became bigger and bigger. We were wanted for murder, I was wanted for murder since my fingerprints were found"

Antonio was quiet for a couple minutes and the crickets were back "When were you going to tell me?"

Geez, I really hope he wasn't gonna ask that "You were never suppose to know about this I told you this is expunged"

"So you were never going to mention this once?"

I squeezed the chair with my hands "Antonio.."

He scoffed and shook his head "I can't believe it, first you lie to me about going to see Derek and now this"

"Antonio I'm sorry it's just-"

"Maybe this just wasn't meant to work out"

I removed my hands and stood in disbelief. Did he really just say that? "Antonio, let's just talk about this"

"There is nothing to talk about just, go please" He spoke somewhat softly as he walked away

I felt like someone punched me in the gut over and over again. I stood frozen for a couple minutes while the crickets came back. Eventually I turned around and walked out. After getting home I sat on the couch and stayed there, feeling numb. The rest of the night I couldn't sleep so by the next morning I had bags under my eyes. I washed up and made my way back to the couch. I heard the door open and close but ignored it

"Taylor?"

My eyes stayed glued to the couch

"Hey, what's going on? Are you okay?"

I noticed Erin sitting in front of me but I didn't look at her "Hi" I said very vaguely

"What's wrong?"

I looked at her finally and blinked my eyes a couple times

"Woah, you look like hell"
