George Bernard Shaw once said Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.

The doors slid open at Med "What do we got?" Maggie asked

"Female, mid 30's. Stab wound to the abdomen lost a tremendous amount of blood. Knife pierced small intestines. Wasn't able to get a line in because of the blood loss. Pressure dressing on the wound but she's seeping through. BP is 90 over 60" A paramedic said as they entered the building

"Dr. Halstead room 3" Maggie said as Will approached them and finished putting on his gloves.

They went into the room and began working.

"Taylor!" Antonio yelled as he spotted her on the ground.

He kneed beside her as everyone else followed. The rest of the team expect Jay went around the area searching for the suspect. Jay took out his phone to call an ambulance. Antonio placed his hand on her chin to move up her face. She was out cold already.

"Looks like the knife really poked the small intestines but I can't tell with all this blood" Dr. Choi said as he helped out "All I can see is that it's a deep wound"

"Dr. Halstead her blood pressure is rapidly decreasing" A nurse announced

Will was trying to intubate "Damn it. I can't find an airway"

The machine was beginning to rapidly beep "Dr. Halstead" The nurse said almost in a panic mode.

"Is she breathing?" Jay asked as he was on the other side of Taylor

Antonio checked by putting his two fingers on her neck "Yea, but her breathing has changed. She's losing blood quickly"

Jay took off his jacket and handed it to Antonio "Here. It will help stop the bleeding"

Antonio grabbed it and pushed it on Taylor's wound. The rest of the ground went back.

"There's no one here" Atwater said

Adam bent down and picked up her phone. He turned it on and there he saw the text message.

"She's going into cardiac arrest" Dr. Choi announced

"I'm taking over compressions" Will said as the monitor picked up one more rhythm before it began to become flatline. Beep... Beeeeeeeeeeep.

Will kept going on the compressions as the other two nurses and Dr. Choi watched.

"What happened? What was she doing here?" Atwater asked

They all stood around while Antonio and Jay were beside her. Antonio was putting pressure on the wound with Jay's jacket. Antonio watched as Taylor's face began to become pale. He felt so helpless, there was nothing he could do until the paramedics came.

"I don't know" Jay answered softly. He turned his head and looked around before he looked back at Taylor. Frustration was building up inside of him. This was his sister, she was dying. He to felt helpless.

Everyone heard the sirens from afar. But it wasn't long before they were close by. Adam left to wave them down. He arrived with two paramedics.

No rhythm. The monitor continued to be flatlining around the room. Will kept going with the compressions.

"Come on Taylor...come on" Will whispered

It had been minutes already and nothing changed. But that didn't stop Will, he was determined to bring her back. He was determined to bring his sister back.
