Thank you all to the people who were there for me,
And the people who left me alone too,
Because I realise now I would not be this strong now,
If it hadn't been for either of you.
The people who left I show my thanks,
Because if you hadn't I may still be the same,
But I will never make the effort to mention you,
No I want you to stay invisible, unnamed.
The people who left I show my thanks,
Because if you hadn't left I'd still be a face in a crowd,
And now I know originality is good so I'll sing it,
I'll sing it with others, and we'll sing it loud.
The people who cared and stayed with me,
You don't know how amazing you really are,
Because I was sitting alone on a dark night,
And you were the wish on a shooting star.
The people who cared and stayed with me,
You should know that I appreciate everything you do,
I really would be nothing if we hadn't met,
So really, to both types, I must say thank you.
