Thinking this and thinking that,
Thinking forward and thinking back,
Thinking about insecurities I hold,
Thinking about times I have been bold,
Thinking freely with no one to stop me,
Thinking of things I'd like to see,
Thinking about what I'd do if I lived twice,
Thinking about what would have been if I'd been nice,
Thinking hate and thinking love,
Thinking will never be enough,
Thinking fast yet thinking slow,
Thinking whether to stop or go,
Thinking about lies then thinking about truth,
Thinking about myself and then thinking of you,
Thinking of a clear sky on a cold day,
Thinking about things I'd like to say,
Thinking of songs or poems I'd like to right,
Thinking if I was losing would I still fight,
Thinking of what I would do if on the brink,
Thinking of what makes me think.
