You think you know me so well,
But tell me can you hear my thoughts?
Can you feel the tears running down my face,
When everything comes to nought?
You think you know me so well,
But can you see in the future what I see?
Something blank and something boring,
Something that's dull and easy.
You think you know me so well,
But I'm telling you, you don't!
You want me to tell you my secrets,
But I'm telling you, I won't.
You think you know me so well,
Like I'm an extension of you,
And I guess why I'm afraid if it all,
Because I'm scared that maybe you do.
