Frosted window panes,
And days that last forever,
Because I'm sad,
And time drags by.
Wind battering down my door,
Calling me awake,
I can't sleep,
Knowing it's there.
Gregarious people,
With ideas on fire,
Don't drench them with water,
For they will stay alight.
Untucked beds,
Make children sad,
But I toss and turn,
And I don't mind.
Lights on during the day,
They make me sad,
Maybe you wonder why,
Here's a clue.
