Great Shaving Tips for Glowing Legs

Exfoliate the Day Before
▸  Ingrown hairs are fine hairs that have been bent over and are trapped under your skin. Exfoliation is good for those hairs because it will get them out from under and will also remove dead skin cells, revealing new skin that will make your legs brighter than ever.

Shave at the End of Your Shower
▸ It's best to shave at the end of your shower when your legs are hot because the hairs will be soft, making it easier tore move and the blades will be closer to the skin, giving you a better shave.

Clean Razor for a Clean Shave
▸ If your razor is rusty and the gel strip is gone, chuck it. A rusty blade means bacteria and a patchy, scratchy shave.

Use a Foam
This will create a nice, soft layer between your blade and skin, preventing razor burn (red bumps) and giving you a soft shave.

Slow and Steady Wins the Shave
You need little pressure to shave and short strokes to prevent knicks. Go slow as well to get all the prickles and to reduce getting razor burn.

Against the Hair
Shave against the flow of your hair at which prevents more ingrown hairs and irritates skin.

Moisturize
Avoid using strong scented lotion (like Bath & Body Works) and use an alcohol-free lotion to prevent stinging and irritation. Using a highly scented and alcohol lotion will get into your open pores and cause bad irritation. Haha trust me I know, it's painful.

Clean Up
▸ Clean out your razor from hair and let it air dry. This will give you a better shave next time and prevents rusting.
