What To Do When You're Sick

▸ Ew Beckay! She's got a boogie dangling from her nostrils! I know that's gross and that's your sign of being sick. Why am I doing this so early in the year? Glad you asked, to tell you the ugly truth I am currently sitting in my desk, at school, as four people around me are sneezing, sniffling, coughing and blowing their brains out through nose. Disgusting image I know. But another reason is so you can be prepared when you do become sick and how you can take care of yourself.
1.| Wash Hands
Wash those grimy things! You have been touching your face and blowing your nose so you might as well wash 'em. Do so every time before you eat something, after you blow your nose, before you touch the TV remote, any time is washin' time.2.| Tea
Drink plenty of tea when you're sick. Inhale the steam from the cup until there is none left, it'll clear up your nose. Adding a bit of honey to your tea will cure sore, itchy throats.>I will be posting a part all about tea and what they do for you<
3.| Shower
Always take a shower, it's gets rid of the grim on your sick, weak body faster and better than sitting in a tub with sicknesses floating around. Showers can also eat up fast and you may also want to inhale the steam. Take a nice long shower to relieve any aches.4.| Take a Walk
As miserable as you feel, you should get up and do some physical activity. It will help you fight of sickness faster and help you staying in a good condition.5.| Wash Phone Case
Get a good soap or a germ killing wipe and clean that thing. You don't know who's been touching it, maybe that's how you got sick. Besides washing your case, clean off any surfaces you have been touching which includes the fridge handle, doorknobs, desks, computer- anything! Clean it before it spread to your parents.6.| Clean Your Room
It's always good to keep your room clean cause it might be the rug or mold in your corner that's making you sick. You never know, on the plus side you get some physical activity. But don't over do yourself!7.| Ramen
Always eat soup. It helps relieve dry, itchy throats, giving you a little break from coughing up blood..8.| Stay Home
Don't go to school, it's gross and embarrassing, believe me. I was that girl who went to school when I wasn't feeling the best, I couldn't blow my trumpet without everybody's attentions, so I always sniffled and coughed, making it worse than it was. If you stay home, you can rest and build up strength. Text your friend and ask what they did in each class, they'll tell you and you can help them out. (I took a video on my iPod of each class and sent it to my friend when she was sick so she didn't miss out on anything.)9.| Catch Up on Other Homework
If you feel too miserable to do anything, then sleep, but if you're bored and don't know what to do, guess what! You can start up on an upcoming assignment and BAM! Finished and ready to turn in.10.| Sleep Sleep Sleep
Like it says, take a nice nap in a dark room for 89 days :)11.| Changing
Change your sheets, pillow case, blankets, clothes and towels once your sickness has passed.✿ ❀ ✿
