Phil was curled up in a fetal position next to Dan. He had finally fallen asleep. But Dan was still wary everytime Phil moved incase he was having a nightmare again.

It had been exactly 18 hours since Phil had come home after murdering someone. It took a lot to calm down Phil. He couldn't stop crying or screaming. And when Dan convinced him to sleep he woke up as all he saw was the man being stabbed by him. Dan would hug him trying to comfort him but all in vain. But at least for the past hour Phil had been sleeping peacefully probably exhausted from all the crying.

Dan pushed back Phil's hair a little lightly kissing his forehead.

Dan was sleepy and tired. He hadn't slept for the past two days but he couldn't now as well. He was worried Phil would have a nightmare again.

The hardest person to control after Phil was Alan who was adamant to know what had happened and kept banging on the door which was locked on the outside. Dan didn't interact with him at all well expect for serving him a dinner of the leftovers in the fridge. He had to be quick and had to close the door before Alan could react.

He heard the plate crash on the floor. Alan had refused to eat it. Well there was nothing Dan could do. What was he supposed to  tell Alan?

"Hey Alan your brother stabbed someone to death because they wanted his drug money?" Definitely not.

But there was no sound from Alan's room too for the past 3 hours too. He had most probably fallen asleep too.

Phil looked peaceful in his sleep and it was times like these that Dan felt very fucking grateful that he had come down to earth and met him. But only under different circumstances. And he probably would have taken Phil to some tropical country. Dan had heard there was a lot of sun and humans loved it.

But things never really work in the way you want them to.

Lost in thought Dan did not notice Phil had started shaking a bit. He looked down to see Phil's forehead creased in worry, his eyes tightly shut.

"Dan" Phil whimpered.

"I am here" Dan said softly. "I am right here"

"Please don't leave me" Phil murmured.

Dan held Phil's hand and kept running his hands through his soft black hair. Phil calmed a bit.

Dan sighed. It hurt so much to see Phil like this. But what worried him even more was the judgement. It still worried him in the back of his mind. Dan was sure that by now his mother knew what Phil had did. She was most likely sitting on her chair bent down studying Phil's file and weighing his good and bad deeds.

In any moment now Dan knew that she could literally kill Phil. Dan shuddered at the mere thought but he knew he couldn't do anything.

"Dan" he heard a voice.

Phil was awake.

"Hey baby" Dan smiled at Phil.

Phil didn't smile back.

"How are you feeling?"

Again no reply.

Dan didn't give up.

"Are you hungry?"

Phil just shook his head no.

Dan frowned a little.

"Phil please talk to me"

"What is there to talk?" Phil said.

"I don't know. I just hate to see you like this"Dan said.
