It had been two weeks since the incident.

Jasper had stopped calling just after 3 days when Dan wouldn't take his calls or answer his texts and that didn't surprise him at all when he saw Jasper his arms around some other boy walking down the streets laughing when Dan had stepped out to buy some milk.

That was last straw for Dan. He couldn't believe that he had been so delusional and blind being in love with someone like Jasper and it was as if someone had removed a blindfold from his eyes and he could see Jasper for who he really was. Nothing more than an asshole.

But that didn't make it any better for Dan who was huddled under his duvet most of the time missing classes and losing interest in life.

Of course, Phil tried his best to cheer up Dan. But that was only when he was around.

Phil and Courtney were official again, which meant that when Phil wasn't at Uni or his job he was with Courtney. And he spent most of his nights at Courtney's flat.

Dan really tried to not be jealous or feel sad when Phil wasn't  around. He was happy for Phil now but he really missed his best friend especially when he was completely heartbroken and just wanted a shoulder to cry on. But he tried not to complain  and found his comfort in Tv shows and ice cream.

And that was just what his days had become. He would usually sit in the living room until 11 and if Phil wasn't back by then it meant he was staying with Courtney.

Disappointed Dan would just go to his room and sleep.

And today was the same as Dan was sitting on the sofa when he heard the doorbell and it was only 8.

Dan opened the door and to his surprise it was Phil.

"Hey," Dan said smiling.

"Hi," Phil said as he came in closing the door,

"You're home early," Dan said.

"What do you mean?" Phil asked.

"Nothing," Dan said. "It's just that you are rarely home these days."

"I am sorry Dan," Phil said hugging Dan from the back. "How can I make it up to you?"

"Your presence is enough Philly" Dan smiled.

Phil grinned.

They sat on the sofa as Dan turned off the TV.

"So how are you doing?" Phil asked softly.

"I am uh fine"

"You are lying"

"Yes"

"He was an asshole"

"I am well aware of that," Dan said with a sigh.

There was a long silence until Phil spoke up.

"I think you need a change, Danny," Phil said.

"A change?" Dan asked. "What do you mean?"

"There is something I have wanted to do to you a long time and I think this might be the best opportunity"

"Phil..."

"Be right back," Phil said as he got up leaving Dan alone.

Phil came back a few minutes later only to drag Dan with him to the bathroom.

"Can you tell me what's going on?" Dan asked.

"Just sit down," Phil said pointing on the spread of trash bags on the bathroom floor.
